Excellent advice; newbies should take heed. Last couple of times I've been out, have seen several guys trying to grope various women. Big clue: this is NOT the way to impress them. Just reinforces the fact that guys who do this are cheap and disrespectful (and leads to stereotypes).
Newbies only, experienced punters will be bored:
1. Best Price
Couple weeks ago, went to Cyclone. Yes, pricy, but every now and again... Talking to one girl, asked price. She gave me the "up to you". Now, some punters accept that; I prefer to pin things down, just so there're no misunderstandings on either side. So we did a couple rounds of "how much you want/how much you pay"; neither of us offering an amount.
About that time, a friend of hers walked up, said hello. Turns out, she knew me; seems I'd pulled her sometime ago. To be honest, I didn't remember. She spoke some with her friend, then walked away, and I got back to negotiations. Girl I was talking with said her friend had just told her I was an all-right guy, so "let's go" (you will become known, one way or another). I still wasn't ready to leave without knowing what she expected in payment. She then asked me what I'd paid her friend. I honestly said 500. She then asked for 600. I declined, saying I liked 500. She then gave me the spiel about "weekend surcharge". I declined, so she asked if I wanted her to call her friend back; I could take her for 500. I declined, mentioning (in a nice way), I could find my own ladies. She then stood up, said "Maybe I see you later", in a nice way, and walked away.
Now, for me, that was class. Obviously, she felt on this night, she could do better than 500. If not, and I was still around, she would consider my offer. But, right now, why waste our time.
So, the choice was mine: was it worth an extra 100 to experience her, that night? Well, the rack was alluring enough, and I didn't want to have to return another night (with entrance fee) looking for her. Yes, could have just gotten her phone number, but any other I'd pick, I'd just be wondering what about Miss Cleavage.
So, went back up to her, made the deal, and off we went. Bad news was: actual rack disappointing: initial appearance due to great support from a bra; also, was injected (nipples on the downslope just not appealing). The good news: ok, had scratched that itch; no need to return.
Moral of the story: her best price is what she thinks she can get; your best price is what is it worth to you. If you can agree, fine. If not, walk away; no hard feelings. There are any number of girls at Cyclone who I will exchange greetings with, but both of us know we will not meet on a price.
2. Menu
This week, went to Imperial Suites, looking for the girl I'd missed last week. Fended off last week's pull; what can I say? Nice girl, average; just not enough to overcome the allure of others untried. Just as I was about to give up, in she walks, sees me, and instantly comes over, chastising me for not having called her. I do like her marketing approach; up close, but not pushing to "let's go NOW". Initially, I skipped discussing menu; she was interesting enough that I'd just let that work itself out. Did discuss number of shots and length of time (LT) ; both acceptable. Asked price; did a short dance of "how much you pay/how much you want?", she finally stating 600.
OK, nice work if you can get it, but not with me. I just politely declined, and started to scan the room (with others, I'd have been insulted enough to walk away - she knew I was NOT a tourist, but she was alluring). She asked what I'd pay; 400. She then started with the "weekend surcharge" spiel. I just wished her good luck. She then countered with 500. Still high for Imperial, but, do-able; but for that price, wanted to see what was on the menu. She understood bbbj, but cim... I knew she finally understood when she said, "you want to finish WHERE? She just said she didn't do that; if that is what I wanted... I said yes, she smiled, and walked away.
Again, for me, class. NO false promises to be reneged on later.
And, no doubt, she told her friends. She had just spent more than 30 minutes with me; for sure they'd want to know what the deal killer was. None of her group approached me (again, why waste each other's time?).
Once again, my choice: was a missing menu item enough reason to not try the restaurant? Surveyed the scene; noted time (was York a possibility?), then decided I had specifically come to experience her. Now past midnight; didn't think she'd last long with the m/f ratio becoming more and more unfavorable by the minute. Caught her eye, but now, I'd been relegated to the "netherworld"; I was a spectre who, while acknowledged (better than being looked through), would not be worth the effort of another try. Made another circuit of the room, ending up behind her. I did admire her tactics; I was standing behind her; she simply moved back into me. Didn't turn her head to speak, just slight pressure. Up to me. I told her cbj ok, but LT 400. She agreed; off we went.
Turned out, she was a GFE (given I had applied, to borrow PLM's phrase, BFE). Naturally turned on, soaked in fact; so much so, she was asking about where I had my condoms rather than the "you take shower". After she bucked and jerked a number of times with the foreplay, told her I'd take a shower and be right back; after all, we had all night for fun. Let's just say she was a very active partner. Likewise, in the morning (late morning, no departure rush), she opted for another full-service session, rather than oral. And she did end up with 500.
Moral of the story: bottom line: it is a business; her's to decide what services to offer; yours to decide on what to accept. But, once an agreement is made, you both can have fun.

Cat's away just confirms the observation: if you are engaged with one, others will stay away. So, if you are NOT interested in her, then politely get that message across, doing her, and youself, a favor.
Decided to meet at Jockey's. While waiting, my observations:- Very convient place to meet. Good for having a drink, small enough to easily see someone (unless they've disappeared into one of the cavities of the far wall), even if crowded. Unfortunately, there does seem to be a non-european cover charge applied, but seems to include drink (s).
- Girls seem to arrive in waves. Always a core group there (majority core seems to be heavyset, older european cis). Seems Jockeys is also a convient place for the ladies to meet, looking for any early action before heading off to their office of choice. Or, waiting for their evening's appointment's mobile call. Some ladies there before 9; most disappeared by 10; then another wave arriving after 10. Some just make a short circuit through, either looking for friends or clients, then leaving. Some hang around for awhile. So, Jockeys really is hit or miss.
- Make sure she is working; some guys (good place to drink), will bring their wives/girlfriends along.
- If she is working, make sure she's unattached. As above, some guys will bring their dates while having a drink. Have seen several girls I recognized from, say afternoon TGIT, drinking with clients; know that Jockeys is not their normal office.
- Jockeys is near other more mainstream P4P venues: York, Imperial Suites, Rockafellas, Rumors.
Most girls will leave you alone; if they do approach you, soft sell is the rule. Mostly CIS (european and asian), some chinese, have seen a couple africans. One uzbeki who did approach me had a novel approach: she proceeded to describe, in detail, her living accomodations (close, own bedroom, only 1 roommate, etc., etc), THEN asked if I'd be interested in accompaning her to see them. She never broke her pitch long enough for me to decline, until the end. (Did bump into her again at York, later in the evening).
Another european cis was sitting on a bar stool in such a short mini I was amazed she could sit and still remain decent. I'm sure it took YEARS of practice; the body was nice, the face was mid-30's; a very definite pro look; myself, I felt definitly minor league compared to her major.
Given that I'd just been to Imperial the previous night, we headed for York. Nice mix, surprised not that crowded, even for a Thursday night. Easy to move around, see and be seen. Of course, my eye was drawn to the chinese. Saw some familiar faces around: was that chinese blondie? Miss Wings (and does she have a sister?) ; others.
Some new, as always. Nice petite one in a Von Dutch t. Another with a beautiful face, average body; talked to her a bit. Only been here a month; english a problem, as she bemoaned. She looked a bit lost; hesitant, given the language barrier, to approach potentials. Hope she had a mentor around.
Also several attractive CIS. And some striking africans, though, given past posts, service can be risky there.
Any number elgible for a to-do list, no matter what your preferences.
Lastly: same, mediocre band. HOWEVER, they seem to have a new, GREAT female singer. Regular girl I know said she'd only started that week. Can really belt out the good songs; put it this way, I stuck around for her next set, even though I'd already made my selection.

Yes, info is shared for all sorts of reasons. If she's spent any time with you at all, others will want to know what happened. So, whatever happens, figure it will be passed around the network.
As BC points out: if the flood of job applicants tapers off, figure you've been labeled as a waste of time, true or not.

Donna is certainly very good. Has been around Dubai for a while playing Panchos long ago when it was a family diner (anyone remember those days? you actually had to BOOK a table then!) and more recently The Alamo.
Mario at the York has been after her to play with the band for a long time and is delighted he finally has her. And judging by your post, it would seem he is not the only one.

Speaking of bands, has anyone heard of the old band from the Sea Shell (Marine Club or whatever) getting booked anwhere in DXB? The club was average, and the P4P scene pitiful, but the music was great!
