Stadium in a great place for a quick shag. You can tell any taxi driver to take you to Stadium. They will know where to go. It's safe enough. I go there alone at times. No problems.
I think the term <drug induced sluts> is a little strong, but not too far off. It is tough to find a girl in Stadium who is not on ecstacy. If you are an ecstacy fan, Stadium is probably your best bet in Jakarta (I am not!) The disco on the 4th and 5th floors and is extremely dark. The techno music is very loud. The wait staff will approach you and ask if you want to buy ecstasy. The mama sans will bring girl after girl over to you until one meets your approval. There is no romance here. You find one you like, you can take her upstairs for a one hour short time for 250K rupiah. I have never taken one out of there, so I am not sure on that 750K price for 6 hours.
There is also a fishbowl type of thing on either the 2nd or 3rd floor. I forget. The 2nd floor is Karaoke, the 3rd floor a live band. The fishbowl will normally have a bunch of girls laying down sleeping wearing blue jeans. Big turn off for me. But if one meets your liking, you can wake her up and take her for 1 hour for 250K. They are not always sleeping. I have seen them awake a few times.
I go to Stadium only occasionally for a quick shag since I am not into ecstacy. Alot of my indonesian friends go there because they can get laid cheaply by feeding the girls there ecstacy. It is actually quite similar to Hai Alai in that regard.
Again, if you are looking for a GFE, do not go to Stadium.

LM's, I would have thought 150 - 200K for the nicer looking girls. Though I have known people hang on 'til closing time, 4-5 in the am, and grab a girl as they were leaving offering 40K and get away with it !. As we've said before though, very few will negotiate the price - if they do and if they speak much english or talk in dollars - IMHO they'll bad signs, often its up to a guys own conscience the next day. eg the first girl I ever took out of Top Gun, I didn't pay her anything for the first 3-4 nights, I thought she was that nice she couldn't be a prostitute - mind you I ended up paying for it in the long run - like the 3 million for the hospital bills when her brother fell off his ojek - the cow that died in the vilage in Solo before her gran could sell it - her granddads funeral (both of them) the 3 mill for the dodgy passport so she could go to Singapore etc etc etc
I always got the impression that a lot of the lookers were picked up earlier in the bars in Jl Perlatihan and it was the "remainders" and the girls out for a 2nd or 3rd pick-up that headed to the Lintas. That being said I did meet the Love of my Life there - so who knows ?

aslan e, you are right. Most of the girls who are still on the market at Lintas by closing time are the left overs or the ones who have already been with 1-3 different guys that night. It is possible to get those girls to go home with you at closing time for 50K. I agree that paying a girl from Tigah Puluh 100K is unethical. But giving a hard core girl 50K who is at Lintas at 5am is completely ethical. It's all relative.
One bit of advice. Never send them home without paying them something. As you found with the Top Gun girl, not paying them up front is more expensive in the end. If they think it's anything other than business, you are in trouble!

Can anybody tell me which hotels are guest friendly in the 4 or 5 star range. Last time I was in Jakarta I stayed at Hotel Margot in Jalan Jaksa had no hassle taking guests back. Also can anybody report on Atlanta last time I was there the 5 of us were the only foreigners. What a great nightclub! Can anybody update if this is still the case.

No its the Sarinah area near Jalan Jaksa , close to Hard Rock, (about 300m).
By taxi, 5 min to Hyatt, 8 min to Bats (ShangHotel) and say 20 min to Stadium, depending on traffic of course.
Have a phone and fax number for them at home, if your interested.
