urmy, I think almost every hotel in Jakarta is guest friendly. what price range are you looking at?
There is plenty of action in Bali. I always take a girl from Jakarta with me though. The girls in Jakarta are much better looking than the balinese girls if you ask me. You will get your money back from the airfare by the discounts you get at the hotel by using her indonesian ID to register at the hotel. The rate will be about 1/2 of what you would have to pay without her.

Hahaha Indonesian ID. I was offer 50% discount at Sheraton Nusa Dua Bali by my friend that work in there, but still not worth it compare to pay in "losmen" type motel. Instead using your Indonesian girlfriend ID why not to try making a fake Indonesian ID? It is very cheap, as I know when I was university student in Jkt my friend offer me a fake Indonesian ID for about 75 thousand rupiah or equal 8,8 USD / 9 USD.

I'd like to add a bit of an update on Jakarta. I go there once every couple of months and love the place. Obviously it's a completely different scene to LOS (no gogo bars etc), but in some ways the knowledge that under a stricter veneer there is a seething mass of P4P is part of it's appeal.
Most of you will know the highlights are the hotel bars, particularly BATS at Shangri-La and Tiga Puluh at Le Meridien. Great places. Not cheap..BATS costs 60000 roops to get in, but that includes a very large beer which normally retail at (i think 40k) anyway. The girls there are generally 7-8s.. and virtually all of them can be taken away. I can't comment on costs - both girls I've taken away from there have been freebies, and they were cousins! One of them.. a lovely 28year old is a self-confessed cockaholic; I spent a great week with her in her home town of Jogja earlier this year.
Best night for BATs is Thursday.. ladies night. The place is chocka. One word of warning though.. i've heard that the place has died a little bit now that the band that played there for around 5 months has been replaced. They were a great band and got the place rocking. Incidentally, this band (Pop Machine) are now the resident band at Rivas in BKK. What goes around, comes around.
I've also managed to hook up freebies from the legendary JJs (careful of the african drug pushers there) and the Sportsmans Bar in Blok M.... she was a right little goer and loved anal
My P4P experiences in Jakarta have all been great value. There is no such thing as ST although, you can, of course kick them out after the business. I think they assume it's an overnighter. I've never discussed money with any of them........I usually stick 250,000 roops in their pocket for 'taxi money' when they leave in the morning - none have complained about that. That's about US$27. Great value.
I once pulled a couple of skanks from some dodgy bar in Blok M for a threesome.. cost me 400,000 for the pair. Not a bad night.
Other places where i've pulled (both free ones and P4P) are Hard Rock Cafe and hanging around Starbucks in the Plaza Indonesia mall.
Overall, I reckon Jakarta is well undervalued as a mongering venue. I urge you guys to give it a go. Great value, great girls (much more caring and - for my money - just as cute as thai girls, but with less of the attitude).

Shangri La is about 5 min taxi ride (9000 roops) from Grand Hyatt. You chose your hotel well.. it's a great place. The other good hotel is the Dharmawhangsa.. a real treat but it a residential area.
Burgundy's is ok, but very expensive both to drink and for the girls. Never picked up there. I think the equivalent place in Bkk would be Bed or QBar.. high class girls, air hostesses etc. I prefer the seedier side of life
By the way, I've never had an issue with the whole girlfriendly thing in Jakarta...not even when I've had two of them on my arm. A nice grin from the security guys and that's all. They don't bother with taking ID of the girls... it's very easy.
One more thing.. don't bother with the MPS.. Overpriced and not worth it. The freelance thing is sooooo much better.
