I have come across a number of negotiations these past 10 days. What I am noticing more and more now is that semi-pros are insisting on locals and shun from other nationalities for diff reasons unless backed by a strong referal. The westerners are declined due to political beliefs and fear of STDs and the asian guys for fear that they cant afford it. Typical stereotype beliefs. I am sure this is not the case in higher tiers, I'm talking about the b-list here primarily.
Also, since we're still in vacation season till the end of this month, many of the young ones havent come back. At least in Riyad, I'm stuck with 30+ year olds... whom I declined.
Have a few good prospects lined up in the pipeline for "back to school" season hehehe... lets see whats coming after 2 weeks. Will keep you guys posted if anything happens.

The below actually came up as part of one of my pm exchanges but I thought I would post the relevant portion here as well and since China Sailor mentioned it...
...Then there is the old method (I hate it) of phone buddies. Simply go in a mall, sit in a cafe, turn on your bluetooth, send messages left and right to any profile that you think is attractive and see where it takes you. You will find 3 types of phone buddies and variations thereof:
I have nothing better to do so I am wasting time (mine & yours) : They will keep the phone thing going with you untill one of you gets bored of it. During this time, you will be asked for recharge cards so that they can keep on talking to you (and others)
I need sex but for some reason I dont want it from you: This one starts off nicely but if didnt pique her interest, it deflates and she stops answering your calls or "goes on a vacation" thereby never answering your calls
I need sex too but after I get to know you better: Self explanatory. These are the ones they're all are actually after. Including you. You talk a few times. You agree to meet somewhere public eg for a coffee or in a mall or in a super- or hyper-market. The next time after that, you meet in private and do the deed that you did all this for.

Given the prices and the hassles of P4P in Riyadh why not take the short drive to Bahrain and spend the thursday night there......I used to spend about 1000 rats every Thursday.....nice apartment Thai girl LT and plenty of booze....stuck in Australia at the moment and a good P4P LT shag doesn't seem to exist so the ME ain't that bad.

More hassle for me to explain a weekend in Bahrain to the family mate. Plus its actually convinient for me here now. I have a good number of contacts and a good lineup. Its quick. The only explanation I have to give is the proverbial long work day/evening. Granted I get get more for the same amount of money but factor in the whole weekend expenses and its actually cheaper for me here.
BUT that is not to say that I didnt enjoy Bahrain or Dubai

Phone Buddies Tutorial: BlueToothing
Well, when you do a search in bluetooth (BT), you will see names of the profiles that ppl have assigned to their devices. Usually the case is that the ones which are listed as phone numbers are guys because they want others to see the number and call them.
Other profile names would be arabic or english. Its trial and error. You write a note in your device's notepad and send it via BT to one of the profiles. The receiver will get a prompt to accept the message or not. If accepted, they will receive your message (or a picture or a sound file). If you get a reply, youre in luck and go from there, if not, you repeat the same with other profiles in your search results.
