Although not comparable to BKK, I had an excellent time in Havana in Dec. '02. I found an amazing selection of girls to pick from at the Cafe Cantante below the Teatro Nacional. I chose a fair-skinned long-brown-haired lady to join me in a discussion on Marxist political economic theory, and we agreed that for $20US we could have a more frank exchange back at her place. We took a cab to her two-room apartment in a decrepit building a few blocks south of El Floridita (the overpriced tourist-heavy bar that claims to have invented the daiquiri), pondered life's injustices in her bedroom, then left a short time later. Services rendered included a BBBJ, CS in multiple positions and a CIM finish, which she inelegantly spat out.
I also scored in the club in the Hotel Florida in La Habana Vieja. Took a liking to a tall dark and lissome woman who tried to show me how to rumba. We agreed that for $30 we could have a more frank exchange elsewhere; she suggested that we could rent a room upstairs for a few hours for only $25. I was leery of this since the Hotel Florida is a fairly nice hotel (rooms @ $100/night), but the night clerk did indeed offer us this arrangement. Unfortunately the rumba lessons must have taken something out of her, as she was less than enthusiastic upstairs. May have been due to the number of times I stepped on her feet on the dance floor. But it was one of the nicest short time hotels I have ever used.
I met several attractive girls on the street who wanted to join me at my hotel. I didn't think my hotel (the Ambos Mundo) was guest friendly, so I tried to discreetly discuss the subject with one of the staffers there. He informed me that for $30 the security guard would allow a woman to go upstairs, but I never did take him up on the offer.
It would be quite a shame if Fidel has tightened the screws on the P4P industry. I'd love to go back, but our shortsighted government is really cracking down on US visits to Cuba.

hey guy´s, I gonna fligh to rio on july 25 for a week,to check the scene.....i live since 7 years in phuket and i´m quite experienced in bar and freelancerscene.
