Nice D.... ok, since it's about Jakarta, one can also try the place in Jalan Krekot Raya, it's a hotel / sauna / p4p scene called Central. It's something like Crowne or Stadium but it's a little bit more expensive, and - in my opinion - the girls are also quite better. Some uzbeks/turkmens are also there.
But my favourite haunts in Jakarta are the "normal" pubs (locals call them kafe).... Hard Rock Cafe type but locals - there are plenty in Kemang area, also now in Citos in South Jakarta. The girls are FL's, unis or working a dayjob mostly and if they like you you can go scot free... But of course, when I go there I tend to speak their language - maybe it helps. Pisa Kafe in Menteng, Tiga Puluh, and Styx are the pubs I most often was succesful. Erm, there are good girls in CJ's but they are damn expensive and too "commercial" if you know what I mean.
It's been about 3 months since I was last there, and probably that's the best place to go to try to forget my TGF.... 
Hi Phla Laa, could you elaborate on Central? Prices & address? Is Central the name of the hotel or place in the hotel?
Researching for an upcoming trip and Central sounds quite interesting.

Metal, I was mistaken and have corrected it, it's Classic and not Central in Krekot.
Anyway, where's Oz? I thought he went to check out these places and will FR us all 
I've just been in Jakarta 2 weeks ago and it's awful! Went to HRC and they don't even sell beer. Later that day some fundamentalist trashed out some bars in Kemang... because they thought the bars sold alcohol against the bylaws.
I was at Shang, so I ended up at Bats which still sells alcohols fine, but those girls there are not really my taste... Later that night I went to Styx in Park Lane and... doey! The nawng rawng is hot! So went on to talk to her.... and the next night she told me her room number in PL and yah..... it was great!! Naw, I definitely will stay there next month (after Lebaran - no way I can live without alcohol) and try to have another go.....

I agree that Jakarta sucks right now. There are still girls around. But it's just not as fun during Ramadhan. What is nawng rawng?

So basically the first couple of days of Ramadan had just about everything closed! Should get back to normal (normal for Jakarta) around the 15 or 16th of November.
We visited every Bar in Blok M, nothing to my friends taste (there were some tasty ones in My Bar and D's) but he was looking for a 10! By the time we goy back to the Hotel Bars I had found the "perfect body" in Tiga so we skipped Bats etc. Next night, Ramadan eve only Bar open was Styx with no music or Girls! Lucky I had my regular to keep me warm!

So Oz, it's a tragedy izzit? I never had much luck in Tiga Puluh except for that young dandy guy harassing my butt - that place is full of gay I think!
I'm going back there for Styx end of the month or early December - should be more fun. Anybody else has any plan to go Jakarta?

I go to Jakarta regularly, more so now (PM me!)  ! Tiga has been good to me and I have usually found it the best place Mid Week, Friday & saturdays no so good. Styx, hmmm, yes have found cuties there but not in quantity plus there is one who seems to be there all the time and awaits for me !!!!
As MN said, there is lots of cuties in the Karaoke Bars in Blok M, never been into them before so may have to do some detective work. Could be interesting.

I go every eight weeks or so. Love the place, although I agree it can be dull during ramadhan. However, I have a little regular there, so it doesnt get in my way

Well..........Bulan Puasa or not, Jkt (Indonesia, in general) still rocks!
Read a report the other day on another forum.......about a chap describing (quite graphically) his experience in Ramadan. Kinda reminded me of my "willing" friend last year. Since I couldnt make it into Indonesia, asked her over to Dubai, which she willingly accepted.
Work all day, "party" all nite...........what else can a guy want? Too bad the authorities just issued a 14 day visit visa for her!
