Traders Hotel have no problem with ladies. Actually all working ladies are used to showing their IDs at the front desks, so no big deal. If you are at a hotel which give problems to girls, or charge a big join fee, you can always go to a more or less short time hotel like MGM hotel which is about 10 USD, and most people use it as short time screw hotel. All taxi know this place.
The recent exchange rate is 1300-1350 in Bogyoke Market. The 100 USD note will get the best rate. Ask a few shops and compare. The girls rates are from 20000 up. The cuter ones will probably ask for 40-50USD first, but will come down if you bargain or if there is no potential customer. So keep in mind 20000-40000 kyat range will get you almost anyone. Of course if you like someone very much, better get her at a higher price or she is very likley get grabbed by someone else.
There are now many Japanese, Taiwanese, Koreans, and many Europeans mongers as well and will pay 50USD for the best ones without a blink the eyes, so the best ones in a club may not go at low prices unless its a super slow night. But all other regular girls are willing to go 20000-30000. Keep this price range as a guide line.

I stayed at the central hotel a half a block down from the traders on the other side of the street. It cost $30 a night, and was very nice. They had no problem with my Thai bodyguard checking in with me (although I sent her home as I explained in another post). The hotel desk had a bad rate for money exchange, but the doormen/guards had as good a rate as the blackmarket dudes all over town. The doormen/guards also gave me the impression they would get me anything/anyone I wanted for the night at a fair price.
The breakfast buffet was good, but you want to get there early as they don't replace the items that run out.
I would stay there again if I ever return.

Just to add to KB's post: the doormen would exchange USD $100 at a rate of 1310 to the dollar.
I "convinced" one of them to change USD $20 at a rate of 1300.
There were touts almost right outside the Central Hotel that would quote 1400. Didn't use them, since exchanging money right on the street with a stranger was more of a risk than I wanted to take. In the hotel from a doorman that I saw every day seemed safer to me.
Concur with KB that the Central was good for the price. Good location - very close to the big indoor market.
We used a travel agency to book hotels and internal air flights that KB found. Service was very good and without hassle.

you need a visa, but it's a no head ache process. In Paris and Bangkok I just send someone to deposit the application form than pick up the visa. in BKK most travel agents can arrange that for a small fee

Just got back from Yangon - a good time to go as virtually no tourists and all the clubs are operating normal hours eg Emperor, Palace, Asia Plaza - good selection of young ladies starting asking price for LT 20,000 kyat (approx 16 dollar) (asia plaza double for no clear reason). Panorama is an excellent place to stay very GF.

Was there last week as well and ladies regular pick up places were busy. Quite a few foreigners though, and had a hard time getting a Suite in Traders.
They stopped internet on thursday, when it become too difficult to follow business back home and I chose to leave.
Interesting country, with beautiful interpretation of human rights, but the girls really have bad skin.
