Took a break from the normal pitching rotation to venture out to Cyclone last night, Wed. Hadn't been there for a couple months; wanted to check out the scene. Weekend entrance fee: 85 dhs, no drinks included.
Someone posted awhile back that he felt the tourists were ruining this place. At the time, I thought perhaps "sour grapes". I apologize. Based on my experience last night, would have to agree.
Great FR Bravo, as usual.
Only 5 months left before I'll be able to get my short spell of freedom again!!
Interesting about changing times - I visited Trilogy (at the Madinat) last thursday. A lot of CIS & Chinese working the place (maybe 30-40 in total) - have no clue on rates (I was forced to be a good boy) but certainly P4P is growing in a big way in my neck of the woods.
This place will be on my to-do list for sure.

If you are with a girl should be no problem. What they are trying to control are the single girls knocking on the bedroom doors.
I do not undertand the actual mechanics involved in this security/passport game.
My experiences have been all over the board, the only place where I have NEVER been bothered is the Sofitel City Center.
Everywhere else, sometimes passport copies other times none, once and a while the hairy eyeball, others not a blink, I can find no real pattern for enforcement.
As for in-call, I can recall only once where the lady asked me to meet her in the lobby, and it was not really needed, just some insecurity or her part.
As JSF can testify, L has waltzed into my hotel wearing clothes that would "call attention to herself" in Rio!
I have no idea.

Agree with you. Even when I stayed at the 4pts last August, most nights no check or ID required, occasionaly they would ask.
Having had some prior experience with Intercont., just giving my 2 cents worth as to why they would ask for a girls ID, even though the bar on the 10th floor has a contingent of girls available.

Same kind of thing prevails at the Sheraton Diera. As long as the bar (Lindburgh´s?) is open, security stays pretty laid back.
As soon as they close though, the third world rent-a-cop gets a real stiffy for passport copies.
In all cases (including the Renaissance) I have NEVER had any extra charges added to my bill.

Guys, Enjoyed all your latest adventures including the usual banter which has always been a source of inspiration and advice.
Went to Abu Dhabi for the weekend as I had to meet up with a client for a brunch meeting on Friday. Stayed the night on Thursday as I wanted to explore.
Started at the Sheraton Zenith night club which unfortunately was choked with guys dancing with each other. Has that terrible feeling where you feel "oh shit, am I in the wrong place at the wrong time". Took a quick leak the loo and had that fear of "do not want to bend over and pick up anything if anything dropped"
Out of the door within 2 minutes and into the cab and asked for Meridien hotel across the bridge. Suddenly realised that Al Ain Palace hotel is right next door.
Went into Ally Pally pub and instantly regain my feeling of " it feels good to be a man" at the right place. Had a large number of Ruskies and Chinese talent, however one will realise why do all those Abu Dhabi blokes travel down to Dubai every weekend as the quality was definitely below average. (IMHO)
Had another itch, so went over to Cheers nightclub and ahold the band was not bad and lots of beautiful filipinas but it is one of those where you stand out like a sore thumb and know there is no chance but some arab type blokes were there sitting and hoping. Had 2 beers and out the door again.
As the clock was ticking, walked over to Meridien's night club with AED60 fee good for 2 drinks. 95% Russian talent and 5% African talent. Saw a few lookers with nice bod and bum....saw one with white top (sports bra type) and mini skirt and knee-length boots. It was one of those where you know she will like to do it with her boots on....wow.
Pulled an African talent as one of my local friends reminded me of the saying "once you had them, you probably couldn't change to another".
Well was I wrong....realised my mistake too late as I was reliving my similar nightmare 2 years ago when I pulled a similar type of talent in Hyatt Deira. She asked for AED500 LT until morning...maybe too much whisky and water (wrong parts ie 2 shot whisky and half shot water) got the better of my brain.
Went back to the hotel and it all went downhill. No BJ not even CBJ, no kissing, just a quick peck on the cheek....whoa...it goes to say we blokes sometimes makes the same mistakes though I always try to follow advice. 2005 resolution is now....agree on all levels of service package before commencing launch plan.
By this time....words from 11B's previous postings and repeated postings start to ring like a unstoppable bell in my head as I started to talk to myself. She had the balls to ask me...are you not happy with me...angry???
I lost all interest and just told her to go home....she even said she will come back tomorrow morning if I wanted for free..... NO ENCORE...
That is my sad Abu Dhabi FR and will post some more Dubai FRs when I have time next.

hi guys...
does anyone know if the Sea Shell Inn Hotel in Bar Dubai is Girl Friendly ?
A friend of mine is coming down from India and has reserved in this hotel. I know before this hotel was GF. But there was some renovations and some management change I guess. So my friend wants to know. If anyone knows, your reply would be helpful.

Why do hotels check and keep the girls passport copy for their records? What do they do with that info?

My understanding is that they do the passport thing for security purposes. They do not want anyone running loose in the hotel they cannot later ID if something bad happens. the ID itself is linked with whatever room the legit guest is staying in. when you check out (and pay the bill!) this stuff should go in the bin.
In many European countries, hotels had a statutory requirement to identify all foreigners in the house. This is not always so today.
Yes, May is hot in Dubai, but I suppose it depends on where you are coming from.
December, January, February... nice and cool.
June, July and August... Hot, humid, miserable.
Rest of the year: it depends upon your personal tolerance.
