Jktguy............I like Jakarta. But I LOVE Bandung. Doesn't mean I have the authority to call Jakarta a shithole.......If you don't like the idea of visiting India, keep away from the forum. We're all here to share our views.
By the way, it take a bit of tact and a lot of pleasantness to get chummy with Indian gals. Yes, its tougher than Jakarta. Reason may be the higher literacy level and the lower attraction towards white skin! But, its not impossible to get laid in India. No doubt about that.
On a final note, Jakarta reminds me a lot of Mumbai (formerly Bombay). Big, crowded, polluted...........HELL YEAH! reminds me of home...........

Unfortunately I have to travel to India alot on business. It is very difficult to get laid there. The women are not charming in the least. Comparing Jakarta to Bombay is an insult to Jakarta. Jakarta is a fun, thriving city where people are always smiling and the girls are easy. I can ride in a taxi in Jakarta and see countless cute girls on the streets. I can drive around in a taxi for hours in India and not see a pretty girl. If I am in Bombay and go to a fancy disco or nice 5 star hotel, I can see a few cute ladies (not many). Bombay is a toilet. It smells like there is no sewage system at all. Why go to India when you can go anywhere else?
Again, I have to go there on business - unfortunately. I consider it equivalent to going to prison.

You say that Indian girls are NOT charming . Of course , Indian girls will NEVER want to be charming to a repulsive character like you . Take a poll of any group of men who have met or known Indian girls and they will prove to you that you are the odd freak in the pack .
You say that you have been around Mumbai and have hardly seen any cute girls . Are you sure you have been to Mumbai OR some other place in your prejudiced mind ? Do you know how many "Miss World" & "Miss Universe" titles have been won by Indian girls vs. NIL from Indonesia ? - and you ( the expert on female beauty ) say that there are hardly any cute girls in India ?
You say that Mumbai stinks - Of course it will stink when you are there .
Actually I am glad that you struck out with the girls in Mumbai - it shows that they have high standards which a prick like you can never aspire to .

haha. That was actually funny. I don't know any non-Indians who like India for picking up women. I see beautiful women in the miss universe contests and in the hindi movies. But not in real life. I go to a disco called Fire and Ice when I am in Mumbai. That is supposedly a hot place to go. Very few good looking ladies there. I guess I'm just spoiled by the great number of beautiful ladies in every other country I've ever been to. Even Pakistan has better ladies than India. And Pakistan also sucks.

Bombay is not a place for the punter who is expecting a typical Bkk/Jkt/M'la experience. There are no bars with girls welcoming hansum men. In fact if you say the wrong thing to a girl and she tells any men around there, could end up being thrashed within an inch of your life.
Its more a place for an expat whos going to be there for a bit. Then you could meet some really gorgeous and smart girls but it still requires you to be charming, funny and speak real good english. Indian chicks are some of the most intelligent on the planet and can talk a lot more than the usual '4 questions' you'll experience in Bkok. R u up for it JktGuy?

i just returned from 5 weeks in india. went to the south, goa, kollam, varkala, kanyukamari, maduri, malmallapuram. getting laid in india seems like it would be very difficult. their customs about women and propriety are way stricter than thailand. you might have better luck hooking up with one of the zillions of western travelers. but then, i wasn't going to big hotels and discos etc. but i found the women VERY beautiful and i had to remind myself not to drool, so to speak. and i loved the country and the people. yes, it's very poor, and the mere fact that you are there indicates that you are rich - thus they hope to get you to part with your money somehow. my few attempts to sweeten up to indian women were met with complete lack of response. so i scheduled a "lay-over" in bangkok on the way out.
