I missed the Hilton Dubai Creek (as mentioned in the previous post), the Sheraton Creek and the Marriott. All are girl friendly. At the Sheraton Creek you can enter the lobby and, by walking to the left, avoid the check-in counter. The Marriot has a separate entrance at the left hand side of the hotel and you can get to the lifts without walking the walk of shame.
From previous posts, I query the York being a girl friendly hotel. I was under the impression from Reading The F****** Forum that while it has a great bar (I agree with you on this one), the hotel IS very UNfriendly. Has the policy changed at all over the past year ?
I agree that the Sea Shell is very unfriendly.
I would also like to add that the Ramada Continental by the airport is friendly, and if you have the misfortune to have to stay at the Panorama (a Ramee property round the back of beyond behind the airport) this is also friendly to female visitors. I couldn't really recommend the hotel though, I had no choice since I came to Dubai during GITEX last year and that was all that was available.
I look forward to my next trip to DXB in May.

Before asking any help, thought I could contribute a bit even though the information is recycled from earlier posts.
This is only for hotels. For clubs, see thread below.
From reading the posts so far, came up with the following list of recommendations by fellow mongers for girl friendly hotels and those which are not. Please feel free to add to this list or correct. I have classified them based on what I felt from the review.
Welcome aboard Worf. Good to see you took the trouble to go through the previous posts to find the information. Appreciate that.
I would suggest you take off the York international from the list of GF hotels. It is not at all GF. The rest seem ok to me too. But there is always that uncertianty. Like the renaissance recently insisted that the guest come down and sign for the extra 50 dhs charges if he wanted the young lady waiting at the reception to join him in the room. So some might be fairly GF as opposed to GF.

General obsevations:
1. Prices seem higher... I had a very attractive CIS at Imp.Suites tell me the price for all night was 1000dhs before 2am and 500 after 2am. While a 2am departure with this sweety would not be out of the question for 500, I thought that the non-negotiable 1000 was a bit OTT for the suites.
2. No cyclone this trip, did not miss it a bit.
3. Rockafellas charges EVERYONE on Wednesdays and Thursdays, you do get a drink with this though. Talent was excellent.
4. Remember how hard it used to be to get a taxi during DSF ? Well it is like that every day now. Traffic everyday (not just the week-end) is gridlock from 5-9 pm.
5. First visit to Jockey´s. Some decent talent available, but there were at least 6-8 women there who were seriously fat and or ugly. They must sell a very special pair of beer goggles there.
6. Some things never change, York is still York.
7. Nice to meet a couple gents from the forum, put some faces to the names. Cheers gents!
8. Passed on calling the famous L (like I normally do.) No great loss there either. I was well entertained during my visit, and though she is special, did not feel any loss.
9. CID is pressuring the hotels to register visiting "guests" of their guests. It was described as a "black points" system that leads to some serious fines and general unhappiness with the hotel. This may certainly have an effect on girl friendliness in the future.
10. I swear I saw a couple Fillipinas! It was not possible to confirm price with them as they were "engaged" as it were, but the friendly bar staff confirmed they were on the game. This will be persued by yours truly!

Had an interesting chat the other evening with a chinese who stopped me behind le Meridien as I was walking back from the Al Bustan Rotana. Talked to her for about half an hour as I was in no hurry and was to meet a friend a bit later.
She offered her services and those of her freinds if I wanted. Claimed not to be a pimp, but told me her friends give her a "bit" of their income from every job she gets for them. Might be a phone card or two or something like that. Interesting.
Also, her girls would not give me their mobile numbers if I asked them - they were under orders not too. Interesting

Hello, yes that the hotel post might be a little outdated.These hotels one night are GF and the next night they are looking for payoffs for a girl to come up to your room.
So my personal recommendation is to ask the hotel manager in an e-mail if female/male business associates will be allow to come to your room.......
Simple as that????

Hi Guys,
I made reservation at Intercontinental. They told me yes I can bring a guest they did not mention if there's any extra charge. I guess I will find out.
I think Intercontinental is located in Deira, are there any good bars/clubs in Deira?
I know Intercontinental has couple of bars etc... I heard all/most of the action is in Bur Dubai...

For your list of GF hotels. I stayed at the Millennium at the Airport for a couple of weeks recently and had no problems either bring a friend in with me, or having her coming directly to meet me in my room.
