WORF, thanks for reposting the WSG post for those that do not have access.
I think that there a few inaccuracies here. The Regent Plaza hotel I think should be the Regal and the bar refered to is Rocafellas. Important as there is a Regent hotel some where. I also think the Cyclone prices may be out of date.
The York report is about a year old. On todays offerings I would say it rates a little higher.

Is inflation baring it's teeth in the p4p market?I am sure you guys must have been quoted 300-400 dhs for S/T, usually about an hour, at the bars. And most have probably put it down to an optimistic quote from the lady. But of late I have noticed that most of the ladies quote 300-400 for S/T. What's up mates? Is inflation rearing it's ugly head in the p4p market too?
Everything else has gone up in Dubai so I guess it is hardly surprising that the S/T rates are going up as well. With a lot of tourists and Seaman on shore leave happy to pay above the market I think the ladies have realised that they can get away with higher rates. Economics are on their side. The m/f ratio at most bars is favorable to the ladies. It is slowly becoming a sellers market.
The ladies can now afford to turn away the bargainer without a second thought, confident that they will find a seaman with pocket full of extra cash, who will pay what she asks. If not then there is nothing to worry about. Tomorrow is another day. At 400 dhs for S/T the lady can afford to go home alone once in a while so will be prapared to let a bargainer take a hike.
Last night landed up at the York to hook up with abdulla, a new member on this forum but known to me for quite sometime from the other forum. We sat drinking our poison and then we noticed a couple of CIS walk in. One of them was the pretty one with tight fitting white pants and top that I had noticed a couple of weeks back. Abdulla was interested in her and went over to have a chat. She was very pleasant but her L/T rate was 1000 dhs and S/T rate was 300 dhs. No bargaining. She let abdulla walk away. Shortly we noticed another punter talking to her and trying to convince her about something. We all know what he was trying to convince her.
Well he gave in. Off they went. And she was back approximately an hour later around 10 pm. If she gets a couple more S/T players that night then I am sure she can let one or two walk once in a while without her finances going into a tail spin. These girls are finding their true market value gents. Wonder where these rates are going to stabilise.
Another hottie quoted abdulla 400 S/T and happily let him walk away without coming down an inch. A third did the same. Were we in the York? or has Cyclone been moved to bur dubai? If this is the scene in the York then what will the rates be like at the Cyclone? Abdulla is visiting either Premier or the Cyclone with our friend Trent later tonight. Will get an update from him soon.
Trent said hi to 11B. He called abdulla last night when I was with him at the York.
A tall babe at the Imperial also demanded 1000 dhs for the night if our friend wanted to pull her at 10 pm or 500 dhs if he was willing to wait for her until after 2 am. She was probably looking to do a couple of S/T rounds before 2 am. These ladies have become economics majors all of a sudden.

Went over to F's place earlier today for my sunday nooner. Natasha was quite pleased to see me and came and cuddled up with me on the sofa. The other girls just dont stand a chance when Natasha is around. F has got another visiting lady at her place. And she is called Natasha too. Well this name seems pretty popular with the CIS ladies I guess.
I spoke to F for a while and then went into the bedroom with Natasha for my usual dose of fun. Came back very relaxed. Now looking forward to going over to E's place next week or sooner perhaps.

I was in Dubai recently and stayed at the Taj Palace hotel. I had no problems getting girls into the hotel. Just walk straight through. I saw this one old dude walking around the hotel with a chick I saw in Cyclone and nobody seemed to care.

Time change at the York Hi guys. York Club has quietly changed the free entrance time from 9 pm to 8:30 pm. A fellow forum member was asked to pay the 50 dhs entrance charges when he arrived around 8:45 pm.
He was surprised and pointed out that it was only 8:45 pm. They politely pointed out to him that now they start charging after 8:30 pm. So guy we now have to go earlier or if there is no alternative but to pay 50 dhs then walk across the road to the Rockefellas instaed. The talent there makes the entrance charges worth it. The talent at the York leaves a lot to be desired most of the times.
Let's all go to the Rockefellas if we have to pay the charges anyway friends. Or how about Staying alive at the Imperial suites. They charge only 25 dhs entrance. Either one is better then the York in terms of the Talent I bet.

Nice to meet you again. Sorry there was no time to enjoy Ms India/Pakistan as I had to attend to my addiction for the CIS girls. For what it is worth I didn’t pay any entrance fee to York for the 4 visits I did last week, two which was later than 10pm.
After we split up I went to Rockafellas and tried to get in without paying the 50AED entrance fee, not possible, but there are as mentioned earlier 2 drinks included.
Found this short redhead Russian with a sunny simile, 500 AED LT was agreed, 500 AED ST was the outcome. Session was a very nice GF experience.
After she left at 1 am still with an urge I went to Rumours nightclub at my hotel to see if I could find some more action.
Run into Irina a girl I have always come back to when I have visited Dubai. Our history goes 4-5 years back. This time the session started to feel a little to “wifey” for me so I avoided her for the rest of my stay.
Next day, start-up at York, to see the place fill up and to get some cheap beers. Then I went to Rockafellas again, finally I hooked up with tall CIS blonde.
Back at the hotel she had two whiskeys from the minibar and became totally wasted and passed out. At 5 am she had sobered up so she could stand on her own feet and then I threw her out. Two small whiskey, unbelievable.
Next day Cyclone. 85 AED entrance fee. L Hang around for a couple of hours and was approached by a couple of CIS girls, one who first asked 1000AED which I declined then she came around again 20 min later with 800 which I passed again, not usual that the girl drop the price without any discussion. Finally settled for a brown haired short CIS with a nice (enhanced) rack. Surprise, surprise this girl had her own car parked outside. Back at the hotel she had the original passport to show the security, not the usual photocopy. Very good GF service, had a repeat on my last afternoon in Dubai and afterwards she drove me to the airport.
Definitely a repeater with her next time in town.
This time I noticed that the age of the girls is more to the late 20’s or early 30’s, a couple of years ago it was possible to find late teenage early 20’s. Maybe it has something to do with visa rules I don’t know, some of the local boys might be able to share some light on this.

It is my understanding that the visa is not tendered unless the lady is "27" years of age. This applies for Chinese at least, possibly others. This was mentioned as a way to keep young girls out of the business.
A related problem crops up when one of these ladies with a doctored passport tries to get a "real" job, then her paperwork for school etc. no longer matches the passport age. Problems.
JSF, I too was surprised when we had to pay in several venues, is this just a weekend thing? I am really surprised about York, I have never paid there, and as far as I can recall, you never had to either when we were together.
If this is indeed a case of everyone charging everywhere, I too will have to cross York off the list. Fine for a warm up, but hardly worth it quality wise, too hit or miss.

The issue of inflation rears it's head in many of the recent reports. The clubs seem more intent on grabbing an entrance preimum and locking the patron in for a couple of drinks.
The Girls are charging more, and you can bet their living costs are going up too, we all know what's happening with rents, part of it will be the passing on of those costs, but P4P prices dont go up in incremnts of a few Dhs - it seems to be in steps of a 100.

I mentioned the increased asking prices in my FR from my last trip. I am glad to know it was just not pricing for ME! 
IMHO this is not a race-based increase, but one based on cost of living as BC mentions.
As for the 100dh increments, as 11Bravo has said before, they are not a bank, they will never up things by 9%.
Realistically, this is the first "real" across the board increase I have seen in four years.
