Yes, In fact this was alluded to in a few of my earlier posts. I found myself needing to a major reality check when I found myself becoming "too attached" to Smiler. My feelings are still more than just physical and it's this aspect that keeps me going back, but I know it's important to maintain perspective. She is good at conjuring the illusion while we are together but once it's over I know it for what it is.

Have I ever. Not once, not twice well more like 4 times. And each one of them was special in her own way. It was hard with one of them especially. L was real hard to get over. But I did. I had to pay the price for her popularity. Never could get to meet her. And then the other one, Ly, at F's place. And Ira and now Natasha.
But I have learnt to control myself. So although I like Natasha I am not going to go to pieces over her. Just going with the flow. Taking each meeting as it comes.
As BC says. There would be no other reason to keep going back to the providers again and again otherwise. There is the attraction that when we are with them no one else exists for them. That is the feeling you get with a genuinely nice provider. They do get attached too. But being in this business they know they cannot afford to be overly attached to any one. Life goes on.

My personal experiences have been more like snpark. I "like" the girl and her service and go back. This has seldom gone beyond fondness within the context of a p4p environment.
I became fond of the same L as JSF, but to be honest, it was appreciation for her physical beauty and excellent GFE. I know she "liked" me, but always as a decent customer who was nice to her, nothing more.
On the other end of the spectrum, I have been flattered (cursed?) on a couple of occasions by ladies who seemed smitten with me in one way or another, one of whom took it to illogical (and almost disturbing) extremes.
I find myself now in a rather unique situation that I have not experienced before. There is a provider who I am fond of, but cannot seem to get out of my mind. Hey, my eyes are wide open, but dammit, this lady haunts me. She is not the best looking, nor best in bed, and others have been just as sweet, but I just cannot get her out of my mind. What the F*ck?
We have almost nothing in common but there is something there. This must be a case of biological or genetic programming, there is no rational reason why I would prefer her over 30 others.
I was curious if others have found themselves particularly attracted to one girl, above all others and even in what are completely untenable circumstances?

Like a gal.......well, that's difficult.
Kinda like a grey area. Yes, you can end up liking a gal, but end of the day you both know what the score is. All connected to the mighty Greenback.

Back in the good old days, I recall having "feelings" for a Chinese lady. Went out with her on 12 occasions. She always said she liked me. And I guessed......well, met her a dozen times, why not put her confessions to the test?
I hinted a couple of times.........if she did really like me, how about we do a couple of "meetings" a month without the influence of the mightly greenback.
As you may have guessed, that was the end of it. And so to speak, the end of my mongering lifestyle.
Have invited her a couple of times to join me for drinks when I'm out. She does call now and then and asks if I'd be interested for a lil' nookie. Of course, the underlying fact is - money has to be involved.

It is a pleasure to read the board's postings. From where I live it would cost the equivalent to $1000-$2000 dihrims a hour for a provider. Money up front and she might go to the bathroom to jump out the window. Who is on the same minimal level of a girl in the York.

I always pay, ALWAYS. This is a pre-condition that helps keep things grounded. I have never had to worry about "falling" for a pro, that much is always clear, but I now find myself mildly obsessed with one particular provider. Canīt get this little nymph out of my head, not love, not lust, just obsession. Weird. never happened before, and frankly, I hope it does not happen again!

I agree with you about DXB, I at least appreciate what we have here. I would love to take the kudos for "establishing GF relationships" but sadly cannot. If I am nice to the girls, it is 50% my nature and 50% a way to ensure an excellent experience FOR ME.
The other side of that coin is, that I have met some really nice girls. Girls who would merit your kind attentions under any circumstances. It is a damn good thing I met them in a p4p scenario or it would be easy to develop serious attachments.

So I am fond of the ones who provide great service, and I am always super nice to them to ensure that it's not my own attitude that ruins the night.
Since I partake in the hobby only when away from home, the objective is clear: hard-core sex 
I always try to keep the hobby and real life completely separated. Sort of a survival instinct, if you will.
