As I pm'd, don't know these specific ones. Sounds like across the road from the Hard Rock Cafe, out around interchange 5.
Might be new, BUT those taxi fares can eat things up pretty quick (my guess is, 30-50 dhs per trip). And a lady MIGHT not want to go out that far as they do consider travel times in the equation (if not as an extra, then in the price quote itself).
Another thing, the traffic here is getting worse and worse. Certainly NOT a problem if you want to hit the clubs around 11pm. However, if your idea is to go into town early, have a drink at Jockeys around 8, then move on to other venues... Sheik Zayed Road between 5-8 is a big parking lot. As I found out with Sporadic, at that hour, I can drive to Abu Dhabi quicker than I can get across the creek.
However, it does sound like you found a viable alternative. Will be interesting to see how it works out.

On the one hand, as Sporadic says, logical. Of course, that assumes there will be a 2nd date. But what happens if the service is just awful... sounds like she's got that fully covered.

Worf, as Bravo says taxi rides from that part of town won't be cheap. I have stayed at the Park Hotel a couple of times and you are looking at 40 dhs each way - triple that (she will have to get back to town after and one way or another you will be paying) and your cheap accomodation may not workout so cheap.
Finnigans bar in the Park Hotel does get a few P4P girls (and some not P4P girls so be careful) at times but the numbers and choice is likley to be very limited. It may be worth a early evening look though before moving into town if you are close by.
No idea about the Amneisa night club above the Hardrock these days. It's a couple of years since I have been in there and it was very poor then - for everything.

SPORADIC my compliments....your analysis is spot on. Its exactly how she justified her 'rules'.
Only one requirement was not acceptable to me, and that was her insistance for a photo (which she asks from all clients)...... in case they beat her up or steal from her. Says she has a 'protector' to take care of the situations like that!
Do I meet her specifications? Well....clean shaven, clean & healthy in general, don't steal, don't beat-up on women, educated to O-levels but not A-levels (there such a thing as too much education), pay in advance..... actually considered parting with 1500. Feels like I'm applying for a job?

With the wide variety of providers available, this one seems just a little too careful.
Photo for enforcement, or blackmail? Unless HER refs are sterling, you would never know.
Not to harp on the mood thing, but I see your analogy about applying for a job. Hardly conducive to a relaxed experience.
On the face of it, many of the requests are reasonable, but taken together, a big honking red flag IMHO.

I was a bit confused at 1st, thinking this might be near the Dubai Marine hotel, Al Satwa. However, I just realized that this is at the Dubai Marina (duh!), which is way out PAST interchange 5, where the Jumeriah Hyatt and Sheraton are. I'd agree with Barcrawler, that's got to be 40, 50 dhs taxi each way, PLUS her trip back into town.
My first time in Dubai, years ago, I thought about staying out at the Sheraton Jumeriah, but when I saw how far outside the city it was, changed to the Carlton. At that time, let me assure you, the Carlton was NOT guest friendly (or maybe security just was jealous of my trying to take 2 birds up to my room). I was told in NO uncertain terms it was a family hotel (yea, I could see that by all the old guys smoking the sheesha in the lobby). But it seems things have changed there.

11Bravo, I suppose a clarification is in order regarding the Carlton Tower Hotel. No doubt there were many families staying there, probably true for most hotels, but there was also a reasonable amount of P4P action in the clubs.
It was the first time in Dubai that I managed to take a girl to my room (both nights). During previous visits, I've had to make do with visits to MPs or the girl's apartment....which is drag. When little johnny goes back to sleep, the rest of me likes to follow suit asap.
By the way, the clubs are on the mezzanine and first floor. Although the 'English Pub' had an Arnold schwartznegger look alike standing at the entrance, there was no check at the elevators. Up or down, your choice!
Coming over to Dubai next week, but wont be staying there as it was too expensive for the level of service provided. Its really a 3 star hotel at 4 star prices. The Intercon or Sheraton may be better choices, someone recently mentioned the Broadway Hotel (with in-house MP), lets see.
One word of advice to visitors to Dubai, if you are not staying at a GF hotel or apartment, it is more than likely that you'll miss out connecting with the really nice ones. Second choices are not as much fun.

I had a bit of a fright as my fav GF hotel was fully booked, and I was going to have to spend two nights at a non-GF hotel (well, semi-GF, you have register the guest and pay 50Dhs.)
As it turned out, I ended up being booked into a GF hotel. What a relief!
A couple trips ago, I spent a week at at non-gf hotel, and was forced to visit a "house." Now, I like everyone there (I do not know the customers...) but the partitioned rooms offer no chance for any intimacy, it is basically bang and go.
I have a grand total of ONE decent provider who has suitable digs to fill in the gaps. I constantly search for more sources for when the hotel is not an option, and the typical "house" is depressing.
A never ending story.
