MY experience: they just don't want to go with you. Just like I'll ignore any number of girls I'm not interested in. Think it only fair it cuts BOTH ways. My guess is they know they'll be pulled by someone they'll find agreeable, and so are waiting. If not, always tomorrow for them. It's happened to me (JSF - remember the arctic chill I got from the CIS beauty at York?) When I say "No thank you", I expect them to move on; I'll return the courtesy.

Back at home after another, but very short trip to the CITY... Field report follows:
Arrived late as usual, and had agreed with a regular to meet me at the hotel for some nice "recoverey" after the flight. Next day after work, send a msg to JSF and agreed to meet at York at 8pm. As always a pleasure to meet him and fellow mongers and this time also Superman (?) showed up. Had a nice time talking while spotting.
Unfortunately I had to leave at 9 to meet some business assosciates. What I didnt know whas that these guys were planning to take me to Imperial, and we had a good laugh when I told them I know about the CITY and came straight from York! They did not know about this forum though...
Imperial was good, and I met a very nice chinese and negotiated ST with option LT. We went to her place nearby and she gave a great service, so I declared the option and brought her back to the hotel where she provided an amazing service throughout the night, and drained me like no woman had done in a long time.
I had some business to do in the morning, so I had to send her away, although it was tempting to stay in bed... Also I had planned to make a visit to F's place after lunch, after recommendations by Sporadic. However I was completely wasted after the night, and decided to cancel the appointment, and rather try to make a new appointment on my next trip (on day 1 !!!).
After a short nap after lunch I felt a lot better and decided to go to TGIT, as I had not been there for a long time. To my surpise I met JSF and we had another nice chat while spotting. As alwyas TGIT provides something for any taste. Made eye contact with a blonde beautiful CIS, and after a while started to talk. She was from Georgia, young and with a petite nice body and a cute smile. However, my "starfish alarm" went off and I decided not to take her. Got her number though, and may give her a call on the next trip... I still have that great body on my mind!
This was my last day, and my flight back was early am, so I decided to call another regular to my hotel before checking out. Even if I felt quite tired after a busy week, I still managed a good session before I had to leave. This girl, an east african, gives great GFE, although the menu is limited. My biggest complaint this time was that she was not clean shaven, and her stubble made my lips extremely sore.... still nice memories to think back on during the long trip home.
Hope to be back in the CITY soon, and next time I'll definately pay a visit to F's house (Sporadic!)

You could be right mate. The other friend who went to that place a few weeks back said that there was no one at home so, although the partitions were still there, they were quite alone in the room. That could account the good experience that time and for the sullen behaviour thistime.
But guys I would still advise not going with her. As you wont know, until you reach the place, what kind of service you will get. If, however, you have a hotel room then you could take a chance on her.

That I concur with 100%. I understand that not all punters have the luxury of their own place. Would be interesting to hear of someone's experience when they did have the home court advantage.

Some debate on the other, Well Spoken Group forum about "Is dxb declining in P4P opportunity". I think not. Yes, prices are up 100/200 dhs from years past. But still, lot of opportunity.
Last night, Wed., just before 11, hit York. Not crowded, not empty. Initially, good ratio, slowly declining as the evening passed. But I'd definitely say, a buyer's market.- On my way there, through ShoeMart parking lot, saw only 2 working girls, chinese. Seemed more on other side, in Al Ain parking lot. [At 12:30, none to be seen; LE seems to have had an effect]. One of the 2 did look nice, and, a different evening, might be worth further investigation. My choice: Pass.
- Walking across street, towards York, 2 chinese heading opposite direction. Had seen both before, but couldn't remember if it had been York or Imperial. Both not bad; again, different night... But I wanted to check out York, so... My choice: Pass
- Within 2 minutes of entering York, spotted the girl I'd pulled last Wed. Very nice; only drawback, as posted, she was a legit moonlighter. I didn't feel like getting up early next morning for her departure. Explained to her, she understood, no problem. Class. My choice: Pass (different decision on a Thursday night...)
- 2 York a-listers, ok faces, VERY NICE racks. Knew their marketing with the scoop necklines. Possible, but it was early, I didn't feel like bargaining hard for what I knew would be top-line price, using perhaps "sour grapes" about potential performance, so didn't pursue as wasn't interested THEN. One did hang around unobtrusively, stopping by now and then to check. My choice: Pass
- Spotted an older chinese, looked interesting (Sporadic, remember Lisa from Cyclone, the "You OWE me big money"; this girl could have been her sister). She seemed to be targeting older punters; hey, that fit me, I was IN. She'd struck out with 2 when I approached her; she blew by me without blinking. Then realized the difference; she was targeting older, elegant punters. OK, didn't fit into THAT category. Her choice: Pass
- 2 more nice chinese approached. Miss Yellow started marketing her slightly older friend, "Just arrive, 1st time York". Yellow bit cuter, friend also intriguing, for me. Difficult decision. However, the "newly arrived" does put me off; I like somebody who knows the ropes. Politely declined, but worth bookmarking. My choice: Pass
- Standing at a table, girl in a nice dress. Struck up a conversation with Lucy (JSF, you might know her? Brownish hair, wide face, not a big rack). She seemed rather animated, drinking beer. Definitely a possible, though she seems a bit inebriated. Rather fasinated with the dress, imaging a Marilyn Monroe scene at home. Time passes; an a-list girl, Ginny, stops by; she knows both of us. She speaks to Lucy; hopefully, I'm getting some good PR. Get down to negotiations. Menu seems ok, bit unclear. LT ok. Ask price. 200... USD. Mental thought: this is NOT Cyclone, very favorable M/F ratio, you're not that cute, and the dress WILL be coming off. My choice: Pass
Later on, she latches onto me again. Definitely inebriated now; just grabbing on a bit too hard.
Lesson learned: The drunk you think will be wild at home? The reality: every 10 minutes, action is interrupted with a "I have to go toilet". Now, if your attention span is less than 10 minutes, OK. But if not, tends to have a wilting effect. And the 2nd round is a lost cause... Automatic pass.
- Spot a petite girl I've seen numerous times before. Have always passed as have never registered with Nana.
Lesson: No recognizion from her, not a good sign.
However, figure why not; will test the waters. Each time I make a circuit, a few words with her. Fairly one-sided (not a good sign). However, when I catch her yawning, I stop and make the effort. Starts slow, but then she seems to warm up, and I think a deal might be possible. She is in the category of "experience her", so don't bother with menu, only enquiring about LT and shots. When I ask price, I get a whiny "ALL night, YOUR house, 3 shots? Not MY house?", then the blow off answer: 1000 dhs. Message loud and clear. Her choice: Pass
- Have seen Ginny several times (JSF, you remember her). She always stops just long enough to give me a chance to make an offer. Have gone with her before; nice face, very nice body. However, can't remember her menu, so... My choice: Pass
- See Rosa/Ferosa?, the CIS of the plaid mini, over the knee boots, the tag line "swallow sperm", and the moth dance, along with her blonde friend. Looking VERY nice, not too many moths fluttering about. However, don't feel like a ST (no matter what the promise). My choice: Pass
- See other familiar faces: sweet Lili, another moonlighter. Tempted with Yaya (ER, you know her). Several others known (in the biblical sense). But still... My choice: Pass
- Number of familiar, unsampled faces. Nothing that demands an immediate response; this is NOT the Cyclone a-list line. All pleasing. But still... My choice: Pass
- Finally end up back near Miss Yellow. Seems she had successfully brokered her newly arrived friend. She does look nice. Menu OK (she must have thought me the simpleton as I wanted to make sure she FULLY understood). Her quote: 500. I offered guaranteed 400, 500 for a good time. She seemed a bit confused about the incentive clause. I hesitated, mainly to listen to one of my favorite songs. Misinterpreting my hesitation, she quoted 500 to include taxi home. Agreed, and in fact, she got 500 plus taxi home.
So, last night, like so many other nights, plenty of selection. I like chinese; plenty at York. My guess is the same is true for CIS at Rockafellas, given comments by other members. And Cyclone is still Cyclone for fillet mignon.
All in all, I consider dxb a P4P destination only if- you are in region
- you have business here
Cost of living is high; hotels are not cheap (especially when compared to Asia). However, you do have a wide selection of WG's to satisfy an appetite for various ethnic groups.

Agree with Bravo. One consolation for the high cost of visiting DXb is the variety, the shapes, sizes and colors. In Thailand, well it's just Thai!
I have only made one mongering trip ever (going when I didn't have to go) and that was to Thailand. If I ever make another mongering trip, It'll have to be DXB.

I do not understand, bad luck, and go to TGIT… and there she is!
Thanks God, Hong Hong is not there (I would not like to see them arguing). We stay some time, then she says I like to go to beach (?). That was the creek! We take the shuttle boat to the other side (all eyes on us!). Good idea as we avoided a lot more traffic to my hotel.

OK I MADE IT -- Arrived at the 4 points Sheraton, my reservations for some reason got canceled.. SO had to call one of my two girlfriends here ( didn't want to check in with them on my first night in DBX ).
Staying out in Sharjah with one of them, puts a little damper on my in the hotel thing. Looking forward to meet the the KINGS of Dubai ( JSF & Bravo ). Looks like I am going to have to do the MP and CIS houses. Unless I stay at the Dallas for short stay.
Reading the posts for a year is starting to pay off.

Did you have a confirmation number? Or a return communication confirming the reservation? If so, then I would have just asked where they were going to put you, SAME price, AT LEAST same standard, until your room AT THE 4POINTS became available (with transportation there!)
Yea, I know it's rough, just getting off a plane after a LONG flight, got the taxi, all you want to do is get to the room and grab a shower...your brain is fried, and the last thing you need is any hassle.
That's when I CALMLY ask to speak to the manager. Don't get angry, just politely ask how he is going to rectify HIS hotel's mistake.
If the manager is not around, ask who is in charge (with a "well, if there is no one else, then it MUST be YOU"), as you pull out paper and pen and start politely asking names. Human nature: when you know you will be held accountable, behavior does change.
And while it is enticing to use your "I can stay with friends/I know another hotel" hole card immediately, as soon as you walk out of the hotel, you lose 99% of whatever weight you carry in coming to terms with them.

You are right Bravo, I did have a confirmation number, but after a 13 hours NON-STOP flight I was not fried but toasted........ And didn't bother just call one of the girlfriends and got picked up. But now I am doing the Boyfriend things and limited to hanging out in a matter of speakings....... See you guys Saturday night but heading over to TGIT and York it's about 12:00 am.
