I met many of the girls who were just regular girls who have been put by circumstances in this work.
Many of them have caring families in their home. Also, we are not so much different from them, we just happened to be in the other side of the same equation

Imperial Suites, Wed night: there for business. Stopped in just after 10, looking for either of 2 chinese girls I had spotted my previous visit. Spotted my 2nd choice immediately, but no sign of 1st choice. Fended off a continuous stream of job applicants.
Saw 1 attractive CIS (definitely YMMV, given my preference to asians). Any number of chinese 6's around, very little to distinguish 1 from another. Put another way, no one really stood out.
Spotted my number 1 choice - unfortunately as she headed out the door to form what looked like to be a 3-some. (Should heed my own advice: for Imperial - get there early, pull early). Waited a short time to see if she had just gone to the other bars at Imperial, but had little hope of her returning soon, and, given the bar filling up, didn't care to linger.
2nd choice came over. Language skills made job description difficult. Asked for a LT price - 400 initial offer. I COULD have spent time haggling for 300, no doubt agreeing on 350. But 50 dhs not worth the time or energy, and didn't even feel like trying for 300. 400, IMHO, top price for Imperial, would hopefully inspire good service.
Back at my place, she wanted to be paid before. I did, as I was no longer a known player at Imperial, and she didn't seem that sophisticated to pull a scam. Anyway, I was willing to take the slight risk. What WAS off-putting was she IMMEDIATELY asked for more. My response was simple: "give money back, we go back to Imperial". That ended THAT thread!
She was very insistent on my taking a shower 1st, which I had NO problems with as I always do. My feeling was it had more to do with perhaps the normal clientele's hygenic habits than mine personally.
Service was average, nothing remarkable. I put her in the "OK, I've scratched that itch" category. Did politely take her phone number when she offered, but no real plans to use.
So, it seems that the chinese price range at Imperial stays the same: my guess is 300 LT after some negotiations, 400 LT sure deal. A few upper class if you have the time and patience to look, and if you're lucky (still want to sample 1st choice). However, IMHO, still a step down from York, and a LONG way from Cyclone. On the other hand, at least price correlates directly.
And always keep an eye on your wallet so it doesn't travel in a different direction than you.

Update on York raid >>>>
Last night went to the York to hook up with Ohio29. Arrived around 8:30 pm and the place was sparsely filled. All the tables except one were taken and I grabbed the last one available. Ohio29 arrived on time and we ordered our poison.
When the waitress brought the drinks I asked her about the raid. She said there was no raid. Actually the LE came in and checked the visa status of everyone at the pub and took away a few ladies who were staying on inspite of expired visas. It was all done very smoothly.
The result was that some of the providers who were permanent fixtures at the York are gone. A few new faces in both, CIS and Chinese ranks were evident.
Ever Ready stopped by to say hello before going and joining his friends at another table.
By 10 pm the place was fairly filled. Ratio was 50/50 MF.
We decided to call it a night and left.

I stopped a beer in the York (I must have been there around the same time as JustFun10). I didn't see a couple of girls I was hoping to, hopefully they were not the ones detained.
I spotted a rather attractive Chinese (with SE asian looks), unfortunatly she was part of a twosome heavily engaged with some guy. For once I was enjoying the constant approches but nothing really took my fancy. One girl claimed to be half Philipina, half African and I have no reason to doubt it. Nice face but much to broad across the stern for my tastes.
I decided to move on and try Rumours. I have posted in more detail on the Dubai forum, but last night at least it was quite good, mostly CIS, a few Africans and a lone Chinese. Good for a change if not a prime venue. I contented myself with a phone number having passed my "maximum beers for P4P" threshold.

Called up one of the ads in the Gulf News and found myself in a house Jumeira way. This is the second time I have tried the Gulf News route and both times got lucky and picked a girl who gave good GFE - chinese and thai.
My question is the cost. Both places asked fo 100 DH for the house and the rest is between the girl and me - tips. Both times the girls pushed hard for 300. I am not a great negotiator but I did manage to get to 200 both times. From what I have read, it seems 100 is often/sometimes the tip amount?
Is 100 reasonable and I am just lousy at bargaining or is 200 more common?
