Many places now have the advantage over Thailand in my humble opinion. I have travelled in my capacity as a doctor to conferences in many p4p destinations. Those that in the top 3 for me include Manila, AC and Phnom Penh. I assure all the brothers on the board that these places are perfectly and relatively safe places to visit when compared to Thailand. Service and price (value for money) are now top class in these destinations. Yet I have still to try Dubai (a must for p4p now I believe).
However, in the same way in which people do their research on Thailand (i.e this forum) you must also do the same...and even try a little harder to find out where is best to go in these three places. Times are changing and wherever the sun goes down, the sun is always rising in another place...and the sun will always shine somewhere. ;o) The sun is certainly shining brightly on me right now.

Dubai is nice, but NOT cheap. Everything expensive, nice but expensive: hotels, restaurants, drinking... Advantage is you get a real mix of ladies: most common are Chinese, Africans, Russians, other CIS, including the "somewhere-a-stanis", some eastern europeans. Other nationalities present, but more difficult to find. Nothing like soapies, oilies, a-go-go bars. But for a wide selection in one location, and certainly the best place to be in this part of the world, dubai can't be beat.

Y York (York Hotel)
If you only have 1 night, have to see Cyclone (AND remember what part of the world you're in). If coming from outside, no big deal. If coming from inside of ME, unbelievable.

Been to Vietnam twice. It is a pain in the ass to operate there with nearly all of the bars closing at 12, and the hassle associated with being able to take a girl in any of the reputable hotels.
The girls are way over priced, and the girls just do not compare to the happy go lucky thai girls. Big TG breasts are nearly non existant in the Nam.
But as a side note, it is very easy to find yourself a normal VN girl. They are all very happy to meet a foriegn guy.

Best place to go if you like the VN girls is Phnom Penh...Nice girls, who mostly know how to please, some real talent. And cheap!
IMO, the most beautiful girls in SEA (in a wholesome way) are found in Vietnam, peddling a bicycle, wearing a traditional Ao-Dai...Just incredible! But each country has its pros and cons right???

Yeh Phnom Penh is up there,the Viet girls are great.
The good ones and I mean 9`s-10`s wqnt $20.00 usd l/t. and they are worth it.
Still you can get motto girls that swing past you whilst you driving around at night for as little as $3-5 usd st,but I wouldnt go down that rd a bit risky.
63rd st has plenty of brothels.
Ive stuck with the same motto driver for the last 6 trips for safety.
If you can stick with the same motto do it,he will look after you,between $5-7 usd,late afternnoon through the wee hours,fair payment for him.
Black cats read some of my reports on P.P they should help you with you visit.
