Hello l/n and pyyro,
The Julianna Hotel operation is run by the same papasan from Bally's. His name is khun joy and he has a side kick named khun Noi ( Noi is the lady who runs the Hotel operation and she is not half bad herself). This place is a good 15 minutes drive from Bally's. But why bother, because you can call and they will send the girsl to your room for $100 us. Pyyro, if you still in Colombo and come up with a different establishment, please share the name and #.

Well... back from Colombo a couple of days ago... work was a waste of time and I've given up hunting ladies out there...
Just stayed in Galleface hotel, immaculate wood and marble room with two balconies, large jacuzzi in the middle of the room. Good internet connection so I can take care of my biz back home drinking beer and staring at the ocean. Which gets boring rather fast...
If you guys go to Colombo regulary you should give Galleface Regency wing a try.
In TG lounge right now off to Yangon... lots of good things to say about the girls there...
As of Juliana it's just next to Base on Galleroad (Colombo main road I think), very easy to spot if you drive by. Base can be fun also, srilankan girls, many in the 18-22 y o range and fine if you're after some drinking and fondling. Many karaokes in the same style in Colombo, you can check the ISG as well, they have a long thread on the topic

Am not in CMB anymore - but as things stand, I have to visit CMB about thrice a year. Daytime Business booms here, while LOS suffers.
My bad luck that company's not sending me to LOS anymore. Guess that I now have to avail leave to go to LOS (and spend a few TGs worth on air-tickets and hotels). What I spend on TG is for my pleasure, so I do not mind that. But hotels and airlines... that's a real waste.
Will try out Julianne and Base next time on.
Of all the other things I discovered in my two weeks...
a. There's nothing like sitting alone and sipping your beer at GalleFace hotel. Don't sit inside. Keep walking till you reach almost the edge of the ocean. The corner was empty everytime I went. Do this for the first 1 or 2 days while your balls are still under your control. If you arrived at CMB with empty balls and love your own company... nothing quite like it.
b. When your balls start telling stories, go to Galadri for a massage in the evening. Try to get the girl heated up. Fingering and BBBJ are included in the menu. She will have had about 3 customers, without getting laid. Best part is that after so much, what she does is pretty natural and not a fake moaning/groaning. You can feel that she needs you as much as you need her ! Massage etc is pretty ordinary - but if you get what you want, you also get a feeling of having conquered... soothes your chauvinistic ego. Almost feels like doing it with a new hungry girlfriend.
c. Hang out at hotel lobbies if you have nothing to do. Might strike gold. Hilton, Taj, Asian-Continental... all seem to have potential "meat" in the evenings.
Say... how about some inputs on GF hotels in CMB - just in case someone wants calls up Papasan Joy. What are the good and what are the no-no-never hotels??

Hey Pyyro,
I hope you find Colombo more enjoysble next time. I used to always stay at the Hilton. The hotel is not GF, but a 100 rupees to the security will guarantee them free access. For my last three trips I have moved to Cinnamon Grande. It is a much better Hotel, but not GF at all. I will seriously consider the Galleface Hotel next time. Can you guys tell me what the rate is? Do you pay a special rate that you can share?

Dunno much about the CMB hotels, BoKon. I too plan to stay at GalleFace next time on... provided the rate's within my budget. Considering that the GalleFace is the pride of CMB and presidents and royal people staying there, may be a bit too steep. L/N - could you please educate us here.
 100Rs to the security sounds like a great idea. As I mentioned earlier, wherever there's civilization, there's corruption and prostitution.
Since we seem to be doomed to be at CMB, might as well make the most of what's available. Thanks for the info you and L/N have provided.
When's you going next? My trip may be in Feb.

Good news is Galleface is not only a great hotel, it's also very affordable.
Not so good is the nightmare to get a reccurent rate there. Usually get quotations about twice what I'm used to pay when I try and book it beforehand. Frustrating enough to give a try to Hilton, Hilton residence and Cinnamon but very soon I back off to Galleface. Usually haggling at the reception gets the expected rate.
Yet the tourist season has been catastrophic and they offer some kind of civil war/flood special discount at the moment. This trip was the very first time I got decent rates straightaway.
here they are:
If you look for sheer size, the Royal Suites are the way to go, with approx 100sqm living rooms, matching bedrooms and 4 m high ceilings. The only large marble bathrooms in the old wing and old stylish furnitures. Yet it lacks of electric light so the large living room is not particulary convenient to use. TGF got scared of ghosts in that room... chinese one loved it... no Pyyro, it's not the same thai gal... though I wouldn't be overly surprised if she'd expressed those so warm thai welcoming gestures to strangers while I was busy exchanging death wishes with muslim traders all afternoon... No Wifi connection so far in those suites, as in the rest in the old wing, and the look is not quite pristine. I usually end up paying 100$ a night for those suites, and for Thailand lovers the Thai Royal Suite is quite nice, with pictures of the royal family all over.
Than the new Regency wing... it's where it starts looking like a 5 stars. All rooms are recently refurbished and AFAIK immaculate. On this trip they offered me the basic ones for 70$ which is a bargain, basically the same price as standard rooms in the old wing. Stayed in a posher suite with 2 balconies and a jacuzzi in the middle of the room for 120$. Some cool room to invite a lady...
On the former visit I'd stayed in the best suite with a huge terrace overlooking the swimming pool and the ocean... great both for impressing a lady and showing off to other guests. Paid 200$ but there are only two of those and they were occupied this time.
Besides wifi is supposedly available in the whole Regency wing, which is one great asset to fight the thrilling evenings of Colombo. Service is top notch as well, even in the old wing, although in Sri lanka things may get a little more complicated when it comes to girls on their own.
So if the tamil rebels are kind enough to keep on blowing off top politicians downtown Colombo, Galleface should keep on beeing a great deal for quite a few more months.
Another very famous hotel of similar style is Mount Latvinia BTW, but considering it's in the outskirts and that when compared to Colombo's, Bangkok roads feel like an empty desert, I never dared giving it a try.
So if you guys really need to go back to Colombo, besides comforting yourselves thinking you could be in Saudi Arabia, Irak, or even teaching english anywhere, get a fresh Lions beer and sit down on the Galleface seafront...

Dunno wether it is GFriendly... went there three times with GFs but we checked in together. Pretty sure someone posted it is though. As of mixing with the crowd, it's not that easy in the new wing, which has a rather narrow lobby.
