DG mentions some good advise, but........do not think for a minute that so called pros do not get scammed too on occasion, and more times than you might think.
DG mentions not to take them shopping, but, as a so called pro, it is okay for him to take them shopping, or buy them gifts.....lolol. Mostly it is him running into a better pro than he thinks he is....hahaha.
He mentions the well written about rip-off scams. Nothing really new there.
I mentioned a common scam that is not written about earlier to watch for when taking two, or more girls. The one about getting service from only one, yet paying for two. You mentioned that you could direct them with no problem, and take control of the situation, yet..........in another of your posts after that you showed that you had already experienced that rip-off but never realized it. "...as soon as I finished they were up and getting dressed.... I didn't even have time to ask them, wait can I do the other one now...", you were scammed and didn't even know it.
Everyone at some time or another, no matter how experienced they are, get scammed in some way or another. After you have been coming here for awhile and start to understand how things work, you start to drop your guard, then BAM, you get taken for a money ride, and it can happen so fast and so professional you never even realize it, until they are gone.
Most don't even care because it is usually just a small amount of money in their western way of thinking, but, you have to take it in context to understand how much it really is, and how badly you were scammed.

KB, I wasn't ripped-off. That was at a sauna. I paid for 2 girls for a soapy for one shot. The manager only said if I wanted a second shot I would have to discuss with the girls and pay extra. I think I probably could not have done a second shot anyway. The two of them were actually nice. They let me take photos, without charge, both in clothes and without and without a tip, I took probably 7-8. Just made me promise not to FB or Youtube them etc, which I intend to keep as the other girls in the sauna on other days refused photos. so I would not call this is a rip-off, I would call it me not opening my mouth and asking them. Probably better off as I don't think I could have gone another round, so perhaps that was the hesitation. Anyway, hardly a rip-off or scam, they performed services as paid for and were very fun.
And yes, I believe punters also take advantage of the girls.
However, I might have been scammed at the hotel by a KTV girl who was shy, or pretended to be shy. I ended up kicking her out of my room whilst she was just about in tears, tears of fear of her boss or tears of joy that I didn't finish yet and she got away with her act, I have no idea. But in the future I won't tolerate that and I will relax more as I still had more than an hour of time left with her.
I would agree that probably everyone gets scammed no matter how experienced they are.
And I laugh your mention of DG getting scammed at a higher level? haha, maybe. but I don't think he will consider it that way. hahaha.
I do care about getting scammed. Regardless of the small amounts. Once they think they can get away with it they will start doing it more often to others, until one day someone gets really pissed off and they end up in a hospital. I had one Russian girl in Moscow earlier this year tell me about that as I had a bad experience and she told me that girl who did what she did will end up on the street bloodied if she pulls that shit with the wrong person. I won't mention what happened to me, but anyway, perhaps in Thailand guys won't beat the WGs, or will they? I did hear one story on Youtube about that, a long documentary, about an hour long about 10 years ago, perhaps you know which one I am referring to...
Anyway, the advice here is good and a reminder to keep ones head out of ones arse...

The difference between being scammed or not is control. The newbie are often naieve with a western mentality to women. So after a few lame shags get led to a gold shop. The moment he is on the plane she is back to the shop to sell the gold and f***ing a new guy. It then goes further if he starts sending money. Some girls may have 3 or more sponsers.You are basically led by your dick. Dont be mistaken it can happen to anybody but a newbie dazzled by the attention is most at risk.
Its different if you do out of control by giving what you can afford without emotion. Against agreed services often sexual. The newbie will often get fooled in giving for little return. The player either plays the girls which also happens KB is totally correct or is fair and treats them ok but is a butterfly.
It goes so far in bars that 'you' will be accused of cheating on a hooker that is crying over you because she lub you. But the same hooker will f*** the first guy that comes to the bar once you are on the plane.
Asian women are no different to women in the rest of the world even small presents of small value they appreciate. Women drop hints but its not advised to start a relationship with a sex worker.
How we see or do this is ' up to you '. Personally I give hookers the going rate for 2 hours of services. I got ripped off once in the kangeroo blow bar in Patpong for a minimal amount.I will never return so more fool them and its probably karma for all the 500/1000 baht whores I f***ed while married.
Its very simple you paying everything you make the rules. This is for a working girl or a normal girl. So they want presents or you give presents then what do you get ? A lot of guys leave their brains at the airport and forget this.
This means in DG case all of his sick fantasy get taken care of. For me its the same but I prefer this with a non working girl. It takes more time but they will agree to everything you want and then you can decide to reward your sex slave. This is the only way by stay in charge.
This is what they see in a newbie a guy who does not get this. Also with all your questions this and that and lack of experience on all of these situations like we all have had means its more likely you will get taken for a ride. But its your ride so just stay in control.
Especially if you plan to live in Bangkok the amount of easy pussy will blow your mind and you will have girls setting their claws in you, and maybe you fend some off but one gets through. CC, I agree. What I don't understand is how guys think they can get into a relationship with a sex worker and feel she'll stay loyal after he leaves. It is mind boggling... I would never send money to them from abroad. Nor would I really want to date a sex worker either. And the whole gold shop thing.. omg.. The first time I went to Thailand was back in the early 2000s with my SO, one guy on the street we asked for directions told us he was a police officer. Yep, it was BS, told us to go see the notorious "Lucky Buddha" We went with the tuk tuk driver to the temple and then the tuk tuk driver parked in front of the gem shop, told us he had to get gas. My SO and I looked at each other and were like hmmm. went into the gem shop, looked around and in one minute walked out, we were young, with little money, thankfully. Bought nothing, tuk tuk driver looks at us and we said we don't want to buy anything, he sheepishly was like ok, I will take you back to your hotel, where do you want to go, or whatever. It was not until years later did we realize what "lucky buddha"actually meant. Lots of scams in Thailand outside the sex industry, anyway, have no idea why a guy would go to the gold shop with the WG in the first place, it just doesn't make sense to me at all...
Anyway... CC I am not worried about anything. I've been there twice already to punt, just not in BKK, but it's all the same. Stay in control, make the rules, it's all good. 
And yeah I would like to live there. hahaha. But it's not possible. At least not right now.

No and I dont want to live there. I tried to switch my job in 2005 after being nagged by my now ex thai wife, but im glad it never worked out.
Lots of long trips back next one planned in 2018. I got married which did not stop me shagging.Just I had a son and wanted him brought up in the west.
Im single dad now of an almost 18 yr old half thai boy.
Im in Amsterdam so if I want p4p there are many options.
