Wanna visit Taiwan,is it worth?
Need all available info from you guys,everything :cheap places to stay,what to see,night life,tips on picking up girls,prices of the flights from Bangkok,or India etc.

Thinks of Taiwan as an extention of either the U.S or Hong Kong. You can always find cheap places to stay, but they most likely will be in the bad part of town. I stayed at the Grand Hyatt in Taipei and a single room cost almost $300 per night. If you are not going to eat at street vendors then prices are for food, clothing, electronics are the same in the U.S.
If you are trying to pick up chinese females and you do not speak chinese, then I would say you will be probably left out in the cold. Unless you are talking about prostitues.
My suggest is that if you decide to visit Taiwan to do if from a sightseenig perspective and not trying to pick someone up perspective. This way you will not be disappointed. I have been told that men from Taiwan that want to experiece the "adult" nightlife go to Macau or Thailand. Because Taiwan is very expensive and it's illegal when it comes to prostitution.

Thanks for reply,"bad part of town" sounds really cool and attractive !!!I need to try this out.About females,still young still can pick up gal or two without money(I hope).I was told in another forums,that Taiwan has stunners,and they like to practice their English with Farangs,best place for finding not prostitute gals is nightmarkets:Shita, Shilin, Songshan.Many bars and disco's as well.So I will try and write review after..

Taiwan IS Expensive
Buy one of the two English speaking local Taiwanese newspapers - there are a few ads for escorts but if U strike lucky and get an advertiser who is not all that professional he/she may have students on their books and U can negotiate down - they are, usually, cute and fun. Don't go for obvious names such as 'Dreams' etc as they are established Agencies with expensive tastes.
If U want something quite mad, go to the dingy end of Snake Alley around midnight. Past the snake and rat restaurants and in some of the streets there are small bars with girls (some quite young but terribly made-up) as well as monsters. Action on the premises - not back to hotel!!
Beware - several of the clubs downtown Taipei have great girls and they have a knack of draining the dollars from you - also unlikely U will get them to the hotel. Their main expertise is getting Japanese punters pissed and the dumping them (in the nicest way possible) in a taxi to their hotel once the last Yen has gone!
There is fun to be had but it ain't going to be cheap. You have the classic bar area with bar fines etc. near the Interconti hotel and the cuties will come back with you but you are still in for a price shock - unless you have something that most us do not!

You have to get a local to bring you to the colorful side of Taipei. My guide brought me to an underground club which showcases delicious babes in see-thru dresses. These vixens would do a lapdance and you get to feel their titties / private parts . It was truly heaven !!!

If you don't speak Chinese then it will be very difficult to find anything worth while and cheaper in Taiwan. Most of the English speaking prostitutes charge between $120US and $200USD. Of course if you go to a high scale place the cost could be over $1000USD. If you can speak and read some Chinese then you may be able to find something cheaper say around $60-$90USD. If you are a tourist that cannot speak Chinese you can open any English newspaper to the classified section and find several services, they are all about the same.
Be forwarned though that some of these services cheat you, they tell you what kind of girl you will get and when she arrives you may be less then pleased, but on the other hand it could be very good, it depends. The prostitues in Taiwan are often cold and money hungry, they expect tips and do not service you well, but again it all depends, it is just my general experience.
My overall feeling is it is way too expensive and the service is terrible, pushy for more money.

Thanks for the sites, though they are mostly catering to Hong Kong and Macau. I do not know of any English sex forum in Taiwan. There are some in Chinese but most of these are full of guys, hardly any women.
