the common places, post, and build up some credentials. Otherwise, read the dubai thread to pick up pointers, go out and and have fun. Getting contacts is easy; go to Cyclone, York, Imperial Suites, TGIF, Premiere, or any of numerous other bars, smile, and you'll have more than you can handle.
Understand how it might be easier for someone to just get some contacts, but then you miss the fun of the hunt. If you're in dubai, then you understand the reluctance of people to share contacts with an unknown.
