I was wondering if any of you have any info on BGs/SWs/TSs (=LBs) /clubs/shows/etc. in Tijuana, Mexico. Hey, I know it's a world away from LOS, but who knows where all of us get to in our travels!

I know a little bit based on the few trips I make every year. I also learned a lot from a TJ forum a few years back, but the name of the forum escapes me. That forum reminds me of this one.
The short answers to your questions are Adelita Bar and Chicago Club for BGs (although there are several other bars in the Zona Norte), discos on Revolucion for SF tourists, and the south side of the alley south of Coahuila (Callejon Coahuila) for LBs.

thaiaficionado: Any info on hotels in TJ? I usually stay at the Nelson but the noise from the mariachis is killing me. I use to stay at Caesar's, but the place has finally become too shabby even for me. I noticed a place that opened over a year ago on Revo between these two but on the opposite side of the street--one of the staff gave me a tour and the rooms seem nice enough. Any suggestions?

Got robbed by 3 cops in TJ back in '86 down a side dtreet not too far off Revo. They knocked me abt a bit, took my wallet and dropped it when I asked for credit cards back, having helped themselves to the cash contents. Beware.
Bro in law in San Diego laughed his cock off. He had the car stop thing fine for broken light, what broken light, that broken light,smash etc on a lonely road just S of town with his mates when a college kid. Paid up and got the hell out.
Also good place to get the sh_ts. And girls weren't using rubbers in '86, scared me sh_tless. Came home abt 2 stone lighter.

Mr President,
Can't recall the names of the hotels I stayed in, just the typical $20 dumps. Enough tequila made them bearable, no roaches anyway. Couldn't recommend them for a man of your stature.

What I like to do is stay in San Diego (use Priceline) and take the trolley to the border. Only problem is that the trolleys end relatively early.
