Dubai douses amorous Italian's fire of love

DUBAI
An amorous Italian got more than he bargained for when he kissed a woman in public in Dubai.
In a move that will doubtless dampen his ardor in future, the would-be Romeo was fined more than $3,000 for his exploits, while his Egyptian partner in crime was fined more than $500.
The romantic couple were spotted by a policeman happily hugging and kissing in a taxi near the emirate's international airport.
The unromantic policeman intervened and took the unidentified pair to a police station for questioning.
The two then apparently "confessed to hugging and kissing inside the taxi." The Italian also admitted to being drunk.
Following a court hearing, the Italian was fined $3,270 after being found guilty of "drinking alcohol and lewd behavior in public." The unfortunate object of his desire had to pay $545 for "lewd behavior in public."
It is unclear whether the ill-fated kiss is the most expensive in history, but the case is likely to harm Dubai's image as a modem, Westem-friendiy place to live and visit.
Moral of the story: be DISCREET in public.

What I meant was I *LOST* My mobile and the numbers went with it. Ofcourse since then I have had the brains to buy a new one and a SIM card, but that does not mean I get all my numbers in the phone book back, now does it?
Wish the numbers would also return.
