I'm scouting for information ref an area in surabaya called "Dolly". Does anyone know about this area? All info appreciated. Please, I've checked out all the threads related to indonesia, so new info only.
yes mate I was in dolly a few years ago with a couple of mates. From what I can remember 2 or 3 streets with many fishbowls etc. My advice is don't go there its a bit rough and chances of getting mugged etc are quite high.
You are better off in hotels and discos. It's not any cheaper in dolly as soon as they see a white face up goes the price.
Surabaya is a good place, just watch ya back like every where else.
thanks for the info. I'm probably going alone, but with my built-in spider-sense I can usually avoid the muggings. I've heard that there are approx 7000 girls in those 3 or so streets - it has to be worth a look. Hmmmm must be somebody that's been there recently.
