Any recommendations for hotels in Frankfurt?
These are my preferences:
1. Near the main hauptbahnhof train station
2. High Speed Internet Access
3. Guest Friendly
4. English Speaking
5. Two or three, maybe even four stars (nothing fancy)
I'm willing to delete my preference to be near the main train station if you have better suggestions for a hotel that is near some nightlife action or an FKK.
Here is what I am finding at hotels.com:
- Hamburger Hof Hotel
- Concorde Hotel
- Carlton Hotel Frankfurt
- Memphis Hotel
- Elbe Hotel
- Manhattan Hotel
- Intercityhotel Frankfurt
- Hotel Kaiserhof Frankfurt City
- Hotel Muenchner Hof
- Ramada Frankfurt City Center
- Victoria Hotel
- Comfort Hotel
- Le Meridian
Any experienced opinions?

I have stayed at the Le Meridien and Intercity, imagine they are guest friendly but not 100% sure. While the Hotels might be Guest Friendly I am not sure that the Girl's there are so friendly or worth sharing your time with!!
Intercity has the best Breakfast!!! But Le Meridien best Rooms! All expensive compared to most Asia Destinations.

only available hotels will be listed.
it is indicated how far away from Central Station.
english should be no problem in any hotel.

as being a frankfurt resident, I would recommend the kaiserhof or meridien as the best hotels in that area (most pricey).
but honestly why would one want to stay in this area, it is dirty and there is not much to do apart from the real seedy p4p!
okay there are some clubs around which are worth going to (galerie and praesidium), but all the better hotels are in other parts of the town.
if you really like to be in that area and prefer decent 5 star accomodation opt for the interconti down by the river!

I'm checking out the websites now.
The HRS site that you mentioned is the most informative hotel reservation site that I have seen so far in my quest.
