My tgf and I are going to Jakarta soon. She has a few friends that were recruited from Club Orbit to work in a similiar style club in Jakarta. Someone told me it was the only one in Jakarta like it, but I didnt get the name. Any leads and location?

Yeah guess it must be Stadium, although I didn't know they had Thai girls there. A pal of mine in Singapore goes every other weekend (whereas he used to come to BKK before the cops started hassling folks) and raves about the place. Not seen any reports in here. Anybody got first hand experience?

I used to hang out there quite a bit.
It’s an Asian club the way it should be: a gazillion times better then anything you can find in Bangkok, because it is open till you don’t remember what time it is.
It has 4 floors: a restaurant, a bar, a club and a “massage” parlor. The club has an awesome interior as it used to be a old-style movie theatre. They just removed the seats and made a dance floor out of it. It also has a balcony: a *very* dark balcony where all sorts of stuff are available in the even darker corners.
Stadum is at Jalan Hayam Wuruk 11 in the Kota area
While you are in Jakarta check out another favorite: Jalan Jalan, on the 36th floor of an office building with a splendid view over Jakarta. It has two floors as well: one with club music and one with life bands.

I doubt any girls are getting recruited from Thailand to Stadium in Jakarta. 1001 is right next to Stadium and that's a much more likely spot. You can find girls from all over the world there. Another place you find Thai girls is Hotel Jayakarta. But that's a different type of deal where they dance topless.

Thanks for the info. I'll try them all. From my understanding, the owners were offering 80,000 baht for the girls to dance in Jakarta. When Orbit closed, some went to Jakarta and others off to Hong Kong if they couldnt find work in LOS.

I would also say it might be Zen. If I remember Orbit correctly, Zen is more along the same lines, more so than Stadium or 1001 anyway. I did get to talking with the dancers there one night, at least 4 of them were indeed "sexy Bangkok dancers". One of them looked quite a bit like a high-end ladyboy too...That place can be fun, but too damn expensive. And the mamasans will ignore farangs.
