I was not able to find any thread on action in Muscat. Can anybody enlighten me of what is available there?

There is nothing in Muscat, don't get carried away by any means. There are some cheap beer bars, where dancers from India, Bangladesh (via Mumbai), even from pakistan performed every night. You can see them, and can send paper garland thru the pimp's agent. That's all.

I second Bimlee. the only "action" I ever saw as at a beer bar/nightclub adjacent to the Holiday Inn.
Pretty lame, and if anybody was getting anything from the dancers, it would be the extremely well heeled. Certainly not me.
Take the short flight to DXB.

Try the bar on the mezzanine level of the Holiday Inn in Al Khuwair. Usually a few chinese in there. Also try the disco in the Sheraton hotel in Ruwi. Again all chinese ladies.

Actually, I am a Sheraton club memeber and I go there every day practically. Health club and Saba Disco are at the same place. It is crowded after 9 pm. But most of the guests are taxi drivers chasing chinese birds.
You will be noticed immediately if you interefere in their dealings. Looking at this scenario, I never made any serious attempt, though many a times, I was offered to follow, or they tried to get a lift in my car etc. May be, one day I will try a chinese from there.
