Earlier post suggested that the Le Meridien Hotel, and the in house bar could provide the perfect opportunity for weekend visit. Any recent experiences or other recommended hotels? Any escort service recomendations?

Are you referring to the one at Gatwick Airport?
If so, I put up there once in a while in preference to getting billeted downtown. Its not too bad an inn as these airports situations go. And, of course, no "joiners fees".
Also direct trains to Victoria Station or any where else you may want to go..

Dubai was what I had in mind. Mind did not seem to connect very well to fingers.

Well mate Le Meridian is still guest friendly if you dont stay in their Emirates wing. The Emirates wing has different rules. And you might have to sneak your guest in. Very difficult to do but it has been done.
Jules bar at the Le Meridien does attract some p4p talent and you should be able to find some one nice there. Ofcourse if you are adventurous you could go to one of the other bars too. Cyclone, Imperial Suites, TGIT and York. City as we call it.

Planning a weekend trip only and really trying to find a one-stop-shop type of hotel. The other bars you mentioned are maybe not attached to friendly hotels.
