Where exactly in South Africa are you going? I spend 5 weeks in Cape Town and I found the best way to find info like you require is speak to the bouncers at the clubs or strip joins. IF you are going to Cape town head to Teasers (Great fun, stunning girls) there is a BIG fat bouncer sits on a stool outside, speak to him he was a great guy who sent us in all the right directions.

Haven’t decided where to go yet. -Heard good stuff about Cape Town though.
What are the prices for P4P like? Any problems at hotels? Can you get GFE or is it more business like?
What about soapy massage or something like that?
Chicken farms like in Nevada? Would like a place where I can just hang out at the pool with some nice girls…..

Now then the whole p4p scene I didnt get to see that much of because of how busy I was there. From the little I did see it just seemed more like your regular whore houses. We used to end up at one every fri/sat night, stay there till about 8am drinking and then the girls usually drove us home  There is a few strip joints like teasers but the girls are off limits. If you expect anything even close to Thailand then your in the wrong place but all in all it is a beautiful place.
Just be carful when you are out at night, even in the middle of the city. It can be a dangerous place. Just remember that about 8 in 10 people will have a gun tucked away somewhere. totally legal but they dont really mind using them either.
Also keep in mind the VERY high HIV rate they have over there.

I'd second what paddyc01 said. I've been to both Jo-berg and Cape Town in the last year and was warned repeatedly by locals that it wasn't safe at night and to be careful. I never had any problems, but YMMV.
Didn't have time to explore the P4P scene at all. Did go to a Soweto shanty town, which was really a kick.

Hi all,
Just a bit of info on the p4p scene there. I am a Brit with a house in Capetown so know a little about the place. As said previously, Teasers has some stunners but all off limits.
There are alot of upmarket massage parlours in the central area, with alot of stunning women in. In some you can part with $10 and get topless or nude intros to help you make your choice. I have had some really good fun in these.
Just outside of Capetown is a place called the Ranch - similar to the chickenfarm style places that you mention. You pay your fee and can sit and eat and drink and chill before taking your chosen one to a private room.
All of these locations are advertised in the classifieds of all the papers. Along with these you also get a lot of 'independant' escorts advertising. These are pot luck as the description does not always match the woman that greets you! However some are stunning and great fun.
In the Greenpoint and Seapoint areas you get a lot of streetwalkers, but I would avoid these at all costs. This is not the most pleasant of areas in Capetwon, all have pimp (s) loitering nearby and all have probably either got a drug habit or HIV or both.
With regards to trouble, Capetown is pretty cool, as long as you take all of the usual precautions and don't identify yourself as an easy target.
Of course HIV is a big problem in SA so you must take this into consideration.
Joburg has much the same sort of things going on, in fact probably a lot more. However there is a lot more trouble here and a lot of places that you should avoid like the plague after dark.
The website 'sextrader.co.za' advertises a lot of independents and some agencies for different locations all over the country - worth a look.
From a personal opinion, Capetown is a much better place to visit, on the coast, stunning scenery and relaxed city, nice people etcetc.
