Hi boys,
my apologies for this slightly OT topic... haven't found infos about this here or in other boards (they concentrate on Singapore or China, sometimes Japan).
How is the girl (freelancer) scene in South Korea (Seoul)? Any interesting places to check out? Will be there in January and would like to know about some dirty details... as far as I heard there were a lot of places to go due to US Americans in South Korea, but I am not sure if this is still the case? Even more if one has a look on the growing animosty against US Americans under the younger Koreans.
So where are the interesting hotels, bars and discos? And already asking, please notice that I am more interested in the freelancer business than in MPs.

well dude, can give you the info. sure can. Depending on what you are looking for the infor that I have might be slightly outta date.
This goes way back in 1997..........was here for my frist trip to Korea. Just the beginning of Spring and the city of Seoul was still pretty chilly. In any case, the place I was suggested to go was the Hyatt - one dance bar and bag opposite that is JJ MAhoney's. The tip is to arrive there an hour before closing, have a couple of drinks and wait IN the bar till closing time. Dont leave till the management decides to throw you out.
Logic is..........Korean girls (quite a few) are in the same dilemma..........pissed to the gills and you can take one of them home. Common bonding............both were thrown out.
Alternatively, spend a 1000 Dollars and learn to speak Korean. in the nite spots, that helps a lot.

Alternatively, try the Itaewon Area.........that's where the US tropps are located at. The UN Village is also a good bet. But then, rather than limit yourself to these few places, spend sometime learning about the culture of these folks while still at your home town and everything should go well.
If it doesnt, go to Indonesia.

Pure Meat, the pickings are pretty slim in Korea. Current info. I live here.
Trust me its better to import or bring your own, although depending on your age, wallet and how much you want to commit, (gee thats a dirty word), you can get one.
What are you looking for, ST, LT (a night) or a semi permanent GF and what is your wallett size.
As for places the american boys frequent, well there is Osan (1 hour south of Seoul). Basically Phillipinos and Russians dancing and bar sitting down there. Not too flash and not too many to pick from. Max 50 girls and all low scale 4-6s.
I recently asked for a BF quote on a Phillipino girl(she was a 7 I think, but then I was a little pissed, so probably a 5) down in Osan and the mamasan said USD200. Some are a bit less, saydown to USD130, very late at night.
I said F...O.. I can get 10 for that.
Seriously the BFs down there are f***ed as the koreans expect to big a return on investments.
As for Iteawon, you can get a Korean/Russian girl, BF100-150USD, plus the same for the girl late at night. Thats only after you have spent another USD60 on drinks with her. F....n expensive hobby.

one fine pick up joint is the JJ's at the Grand Hyatt! lots of FL there, as well as local gals!!
but pls be reminded that the prices for such clubs (hotel Clubs) are very steep!! as Craigoz has highlighted, u are expected to throw in some "free drinks" as well! and did i mention most gals can hold their drinks pretty well??
IMHO....not my cup of tea over here in Seoul. keep the $$ for LOS.

Ditto on what you have said. I am at Osan and will keep my dollars for Thailand (leave for there on Friday).
For the price of a BF and a half you can fly to PI if you want a pinoy or to Thai for a TG. As far as I am concerned, TGs are the best anyway. Much better to bring a TTG here.
My ex was Korean and I am pretty fluent in the language but it is just not like what it used to be here, say in the early 80's..lol put a 10,000 won note on your forehead and take your pick for the night. lol So much lost due to civilization...lol

try to stay at the hyatt.
don't buy pussy, as others poited out. too expensive.
my partner paid usd 3'600.00 at one bar for 3 people recently (he IS korean, but lives here). he clims, that he needs korean meat sometimes.
