Hello again gentlemen,
Not much ideas on Israel from any of the brothers, but how about Istanbul, Turkey. My business is taking me there for the first time also. I hear there is a lot of Russian action there? Any leads or specially contact #'s will be greatly appreciated.

I guess not much info on this one, eh?
I recently flew through Istanbul on my way back to the sandbox.
I was only there for one night.
There is a hotel in the airport, Sorry but I did not get to check out the bar at the airport hotel.
I stayed in a pretty nice place about 4 Kilometers from there.
I did see alot of good looking girls from everywhere while I did some business near the hotel. But I did not attempt to go out to a club etc.
Does anyone know where the hang out places in Istanbul are located?

Funny was just about to do a search and saw Istanbul Thread top of the list.
There seems to be a ton of agencies on-line so I am guessing there may be some Bar action as well.
Plan on possibly heading there on Easter weekend as a friend wants to meet somewhere different and entertaining and suggested Istanbul.
I wonder if there are any restrictions in the Hotels -GF or not?
Any Bros with advice -much appreciated.

Istanbul offers nightlife and entertainment in any direction you want to. The choice is incredible and there are several centers of nightlife all over the city: Ortakoy at the Bosphorus (European side), the Istiklal Street from Taksim to Tünel where you will find many students(European side), Aksaray with the more Turkish style nightlife and red-light district (European side) and Kadikoy with its various choice of bars and little restaurants (Asian side).
But be very careful about going into bars that do not display a price list outside their premises - in fact, don't. You cannot assume the price of anything so if the bar is not displaying a price list, it's usually because they don't want you to know they're charging $50 for one beer. Have a few of those, and imagine the bill. The staff will become very aggressive with you if you've not enough money to pay, or if you protest about the prices. They will search you for money or credit cards.

Be very careful in Turkey. 3 years ago I spent 2 nights there for a trade show. I was told by my business associates to go to Taksim Square for night life and great restaurants. After a decent meal I was feeling horney so I started to walk around and was approaced by a young, very well spoken, well dressed guy on the street asking me if I was looking for a girl. Unfortunately I said yes. He was very innocent looking and read me like a book. Keep in mind I've lived in Brooklyn most of my life and pride myself on being street smart. So after a five minute conversation, I followed him to a bar and sat across from him in a booth. I orderd us 2 beer and he called 2 beautiful Russian or eastern European girls over and they joined us. The girls ordered 2 glasses of champagne without checking with me and were served within seconds. I didn't even get a chance to protest. I knew right then I got f***ed. I asked for the bill and was given a check for almost $200. I said I wouldn't pay, which was my second mistake mistake of the night, because now I was escorted to a small office in the corner of the bar by 2 guys who looked like they would enjoy breaking my neck. I was patted down and was relieved of around $300. Strange thing was that they didn't take my watch or my ring, which are worth much more than $300. I left the bar feeling like a moron and went straight to the police station. There they told me it's a classic tourist scam and I could press charges, but I would have to stay in the countery until the case goes to court, which would be about 2 weeks. They also told me the scam is run by a group of Kurds and the reason they only take cash is beacuse if the took my personal things, the chances of me staying around for the court date would be much greater. Needless to say, after that experience whenever I travel, weather for mongering or business, I never wear a good watch or my ring and always keep only enough money in my pocket to get by for the day and I never let my guard down, even in Bangkok.
Enjoy Turkey for it's sights, culture, history and people, but be very carefull if you're mongering.

adam4848's story is correct and it's really hard to find a place where you can take a girl with you without getting robbed so in sort DON'T EVEN TRY
there are hundress of places as jingjo explained but I suggest you to just get a beer or two and keep yourself sober if you are not in a place which is recommended by your friends
Istanbul is a dangerous place so it's best to be careful than other options...
