Does anyone have any information about Rangoon? Information about nightclubs, bath house or massage houses.

was in yangon (rangoon) last january. had a blast. i stayed at the hotel equatorial which had a club in the basement called the london music club. all the women in the place looked ready to go. i started talking to the most attractive one i could find and after a while took her to my room. (which cost me a $15 fee). the girl stayed all night and in the morning i paid her $40 which she seemed happy to get. i believe that the hotel has changed ownership since that time but i am sure that the nightclub is still there. from what i can gather, all of the upscale nightclubs in yangon are full of working women. hope that this helps.

i don't know of any web sites on burmese nightlife. i went there for a cultural trip and was pleasantly surprised to find other entertainment, although it wasn't as readily available in mandalay or bagan. i read somewhere that there has been a lot of investment in mandaly by the chinese in the last year or two so i am sure that the nightlife scene has picked up there. i have no idea what the ST prices would be. hell i have no idea what the LT prices should be. but as i mentioned, both of the girls that i was with in yangon seemed very happy with $40. i looked up the hotel that i stayed at in yangon. it is now the Sofitel Plaza Yangon and the nightclub in the basement is the Spectrum Disco Pub.

Sofitel is good choice for girls, another one is Hotshot disco at the Kandawgyi hotel (very nice 4* hotel on the lake). Both are frequented by expats and are also regular pubs/discos to have fun to.
Price is 40-50$ for the night. Though you can get the deseperate ones for $20-30 and the stunners for 70$+.
The disco in Asia Plaza is more business oriented with a mamasan sending 2 or 3 girls to you as soon as you arrive. Lots of girls, very few speak a word of English and most seem quite unhappy to be there. Not a good atmosphere IMO.
Many other places but more run down so if you want good looking quality girls stick to Sofitel and Kandawgyi.
Myanmar is very safe for tourists, I would say safer than Thailand, but not for the girls. Try not be seen outside with them, anyway they will always leave at 5 or 6 in the morning.
