So another trip has ended and you are already planning your next trip. The first major hurdle is, what are you going to tell the Family, GF or Wife this time? How about we share with the members some of those successful justifications for another trip to Thailand.

A "business trip" (exploring business opportunities) is always a good excuse, The best idea is to get divorced let the old lady have custody of the kids and move to LOS, no more explanations needed!!

depends where you are flying from and via which country you go stopover before bangkok. i always say i am going to japan, since my flight goes thru osaka or narita on JAL. show her only these tickets, and don't forget to take-off the itinerary ticket which is usually attached last.
about passport. when you come back, hide it! in a safe. or apply for a dual passport. one for trips with her, and the other for personal trips.
i don't call too much, because i worry about caller id. (if i really have to call, i call a friend first, and asks what number is diplayed. if 'unavailable' appears, i may call her from that phone.)
i also give the excuse that there are too many different types of phones in japan. orange, green, etc. all work with a different card you buy. i say i have a hard time figuring this out, and don't want to fret about it. so communication is only by e-mail. if any.
last, but not least. destroy all evidence! no receipts. when you check-out of the hotel, only pay with cash. make sure there are no creditcard trails. have someone else pick you up at the airport, don't forget to take off all the bkk stickers from your luggage and even that yellow wrap around your suitcase.
this should justify another trip! like the Al Bundy motto from the show Married with Children, just LIE.
