having done the bangers thing on numerous occasions im feeling like a change, dont get me wrong I really enjoy my sojourns to bangers, but feel now could be time to try something different. im going to bkok next april but have about 8 days to kill before I land in bkok, do I go to vietnam or cambodia? or both?, if so which parts?, Ho Chi Minh, Hanoi, Da Nang,Phnom Penh, Siem Reab, or is there another place I havnt mentioned?im not really into temples or scenery, more so the nite life, can you help me??????

Vietnam, especially Da Nang - is interesting, but I didnt like the heavy police/Communist regime, also they can be very strict about bringing a girl to your hotel - in most smaller places in Vietnam, you pick them up via a hair dressing joint, - I think Cambodia/Phanom Phenn maybe more your go, been a while since I was there however, maybe Martini bar is not what it was... for that matter, neither is Thermae, think the go is to hook up with some local ex-pats if you can, wherever you go, Jack of Jacks Bar in Da Nang was helpful to me for example.... but my guess is in the end you will be happy to get back to LOS !

Jakarta, but not during Ramadan or the better choice for an more Los like experiance, Manila. There are threads on both. Different to Los but just as enjoyable.
