When I first went online 4 years ago, I was reading my favourite novel by my favourite author - The Heart of the Matter by Graham Greene.
So when asked for the first time for an ID, the name of the main character was an obvious (and unimaginative) choice.

Are you the real Wizard of Oz? I always thought the Wizard of Oz was an Irishmen. Emerald City. All that green? Those munchkins looked alot like leprichauns. However, the Lolipop Guildists had more of Tuetonic character to them.
My first AKAS were
Kaisersoldaten-I am a re-enactor and used to be in a World War One Imperial German pioneer unit. I was starting a book called KAISERSOLDATEN and about 250k Jews that fought for the Kaiser in WW1
then I changed to Springfield03
--after I aquired a mint-condtion Springfield 1903 (marked 1917 Remington) for free from a friend that owed me 300$. Mind you, the 03 is worth about 1000$.

Cheapcharlie, My wifes loving nickname for me cheapcharlie, kin jouw, shit Falang aargh 6 glorious years.
Also I found out recently her family call her kin jouw 2,now she married a falang but also learned you cannot buy everything for everybody all the time, especially on a housewife's wage.
Also the cynisism of thailand, cheapcharlie should mean someone who has money but wont part with it, the idea that a Falang has limited resourses of money is difficult for Thai to understand we all pick from a tree of money that grows and grows of course.

I am Basher
the name started as a joke as my mate wanted me to go on Thaivisa to back him up as a 'fake' ex SAS soldier on service in Nigeria, I did this and we had a laugh or 2, I upset the moderator somehow, still don't know how and was banned.
My mate then had me executed in a scuffle in Nigeria... a lot of folk believed it too, silly sods
I chose Basher because I used to work with a bloke called Basher Wright on the rigs in the UK North Sea, he was called basher because... he would never argue, just thump you, and Basher sounds like the consumate British squaddie name like Tommy Jenkins or Smudger Smiff
