I first hesitated to post this because maybe it could be misunderstood. Finally I however decided to tell this little story because it is a reminder of how some idiots can really ruin it for all of us. Naturally I do not think that ANY member of this forum would behave like this - instead it is a reminder that perhaps we sometime need to educate newcomers and anyone we run across of a very important and serious issue: even if we go to LOS to have fun, we must not forget to highly respect the people - in whatever position they are. This is crystal clear for anyone on this forum - I hope......
But this incident may explain why sometímes - very understandable - the thai people think that farang is directly linked to crazy monkeys.
I have someone I meet on a more and more regular basis. She is just the sweetest thing I have encountered in a long time. Very dangerous - but what the heck can you do when that little lovely face is on your mind all the time.... she does not even work in the "industry". Actually a quite shy and laidback young woman with quite an interesting and smart mind. I like her a lot.
So of course we hang out together on a regular basis. A month or so ago we were walking Sukhumvit in the direction of Nana trying to decide where to eat. Finally we agreed to drop in at Tonys who has one of towns best rib-dinners. After a very nice meal we walked out of the place and I had a call on the mobile. So TGF waited while I chatted. For some reason I had momentarily my backed turned on her when suddenly I heard her give up a small scream. Turned around and saw a tall schmuck idiot farang who just passed by, stop and with a grin grab her between the legs!! I was in the midst of an important call and first reaction was to floor the idiot. For some reason I restrained myself and just cursed the bastard. Perhaps a good choice since a fight in the midst of the street could have ended in an ugly aftermath. But boy did I want to drown that shithead!
Apart from my adrenalin pumping - which is insignificant really - the sad thing was my TGF reaction. She was shocked, humiliated and started to cry. One can just imagine what a picture she was given of some western guys behaviour. I was devestated. For the next couple of hours I had a tough job comforting her and trying to explain that it is just a certain breed of arseholes that do these things. She came out of it finally but it sure took a while.
However it is not an isolated incident. I have over the years seen many examples of guys truly behaving like bastards towards the thais. It is more than tragic - and I feel really upset about it!
The guy that took a handful of my TGF´s private parts did it in the middle of one of the bigger streets in Bangkok in broad daylight and was not even drunk. Just laughed at it. As much as he is a complete idiot - it is tragic that a lot of people abuse the friendship and hospitality of the thai people like this. Lets all do our little part and fight this behaviour and show the locals that not all farangs are born with an iq similar to a lame snail! Treat our hosts that let us visit their paradise with respect and good manners!

And you openly admit to behaving like this??? What is your problem? I have a suggestion to you - stay out of Thailand and spare the rest of us your unwanted presence!
You should be ashamed of yourself. And if you are so dim that you believe that such a manner is ok even at Nana or Cowboy it just shows that you were brought up behind the barnyard and do not belong in civilised quarters. Also girls working at the establishments are human beings and deserve respect and good behaviour. I did not think a member of this forum would admit to such a pigstyle behaviour. Go f*** yourself!

I agree, with ItaliaThug - keep non-p4p thai girls right away from the area. Even though you say you weren't "in" Nana - you were obviously close enough....sure, the guy was out of line - no argument there....but just because you now have regressed anger, no need to shoot the messenger because of the truth of what has been said and the good advice...
Maybe you might want to rethink about editing your last post....and the last comment or two...Seems you're pretty quick to engage in a conflict online....
My advice is go to the gym and beef up for the next time you want to visit these *areas* with a non-p4p girl - save yourself the sleepless nights of guilt

I have to agree with most everyone else here, you don't take a nice girl to the usual farang hangouts. Avoid the p4p sois and most of sukhumvit for that matter. If a thai girl is in medium range proximity to Nana they are broadcasting the wrong message already. Also avoid the bars, restaurants, and nightclubs with a heavy farang presence. Go with the mostly thai areas of the city and ask your girl to order for you. It makes for some fun times to have her show you around and the chances are low that you will be hassled by degenerates.
