If you are at the Erawan you can check out the Siam Paragon theatres. They are very nice. I saw the James Bond movie there and it was 1200 baht for two but we were in the VIP seating where the seats recline almost 180 degrees and you get a pillow and blanket. They also have theatres with loveseats for around 600 baht for two. I think the regular seats are around 150 baht each.

Emporium shopping mall has nice cinema too. Sukhumvit, Soi 24, Bts Phrom Phong.
Do they have English movies? I think so... Watch out: the cinema website are not very correct with info about movies, times etc.

went to Siam in the VIP section, was great certainly worth the 1200 baht. Helped that it was a great movie too

Does anybody know which theatres besides Siam Paragon have VIP seating? I have been to Emporium and they don't have them there.

EGV Grand- top floor of Siam Discovery- does, as does the Ekkamai theater, Major Bangkae, Major Lad Prao, Major Pinklao; SF Cinema at MBK and Central Lad Prao theaters.
The one weakness of Movieseer.com is it doesn't distinguish between the VIP and normal theaters unless you specifically search by venue.

Emporium SF cineplex is better than any other in my book...but, You may take a long sleeved shirt with u at the movie since the A/C in there is damn freezing.
At MBK the 100 bht ticket in the evening is cheaper than anywhere else,maybe in the whole wide world?
Instead at Major Rachayotin there is a 3-D screen too and I would love to try it on my next trip,BTW the theater there is so-so.
Avoid Seacon Square plex,it is very old fashioned nowadays,kinda lame.
Anyway the bestest of things is to stand up when the Royal Tribute plays before the movie starts,i've catched the new version at Paragon and is just wonderful.
P.s: Anyone has ever set foot at APEX on Siam Square?
i'm always been so curious about this theatre.
