I have introduced about ten or so?
That have made the trip and have become head over heals with the Thai Ladies and The Great Kingdom of Siam.
Only 27% stay Happy in Love, but LOS is like no other place Yea!
First time friends told me about Thailand was back in the early Seventies how cheap it was and the BEST place on Earth to have a Grand Time, plus  they said you could get a Girl for the price of a meal to take care of your every need as long as you had money.
Even if you had a head like a busted arse that only your Mother could love as long as you had a few Bart Simpson to throw at them so they could be a Survivor your were in for a FAT time.
Thus I made my first trip to Asia in the Seventies which changed me forever and I knew one day I would end up with a Thai Lady !

Oh my parents also, so make that 8, but I dont think thats what you meant by "introduced" lol!
I personally was introduced when I attended a Thai friends wedding in January '02, he was actually born in the states so I guess technically he is American....
I then went back to the states and sold my shares in a business I owned to another partner (we had actually planned on that anyway) and was living in an apt by MBK 6 weeks later.....
At the time, the baht was at like 45 to the dollar and so I just said f*** it and moved all my shit into my parents basement, sub-leased my place all without having the slightest f***ing idea of how long I would stay...
and 3 years later I was back in the states with some great memories, a few dear friends, some international work experience, oh and a Thai wife... uh wait a sec, WTF was that last part

Two, kind of. The first friend works for a major airline and was very excited about the prospect of a LOS visit. We flew biz to Tokyo and got a great deal onward to BKK. He planned a 3 week visit with lots of "activity" but two weeks before the trip he met a gal online (now ex-wife number 3). All he talked about was this girl and how she was the one. Keep in mind they went out once or twice before our trip. He called every day from Japan and Thailand. Only took a girl once during his stay and that was with lots of encouragement from me and another friend. He even regretted that choice. Cut his vacation short by a week to fly home and be with internet girl. She moved in a month later, married two months later and divorced in under a year.
The second friend is married to a Thai girl he met on the net. After a couple of trips to Thailand I showed him the other side...the fun side. While he only took one tilac girl for st he can hardly wait to get back for a couple more rounds. This was also the first time I crossed over after my marriage to a Thai girl. Thanks for the encouragement SeaJohn. You are a GREAT friend. We are both married to Thai girls and they seem to be okay with us prowling because they do not believe either of us would stray.

Hmmm. I have a problem. I am wholeheartedly anti racist. It sticks in my craw to have to say this. But what is with the Arabs in BKK?
They are generally not seen in the rest of the country.
However in that small part of BKK they now seem to have a complete hold.
Now they don't drink, they sure don't buy & even though they bring their, generally fat arsed wives with them, they must screw.
So now, with their (long suffering) wives, they are in my f*****g way.
Why are they there? I really can't se the point of leaving one impossilbly hot country for another unless you partake in something more tham blocking my path.
If it's pussy, then leave the fat arsed wife & her mates at home!
Is it just me?

they are here to partake just like us, only they can bring their wives & make them wait at the hotel while they go out & get their groove on
or maybe the wives go shopping
you think it's bad any other week of the year, try getting a flight from an Arabian country during Ramadan, the Muslim fasting week

At my work place there are about 42 people there right now. I have been at the place for 10 years and in that time only one other person has taken a trip outside the United States. In that time I have brought over two other guys to Thailand with me, but neither has made any repeat visits.
Myself, I never wanted to visit Thailand. But back in 2000 I decided to go hiking in Nepal. On the way there I made stops in Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok. The visits were just to look around a bit before Nepal. I spend three days in Bangkok at the Landmark, and never got into any nightlife. In Nepal on the 12th day of the hike I came down with an upper respiratory infection, that completely kicked my butt. I ended coming back to Thailand 3 weeks before I had planned and ended up spending a month there. Although I enjoy the nightlife now, I think it is more the familiarity that keeps bringing me back along with just how easy the place is.

One of my very best friends keeps asking me to take him on a tour of LOS. He is from India (Bombay) and rather obese. But he is also dangerously smart and funny. His GFs are usually better looking than mine. So I would be interested to see how he makes out with the TGs. And I am curious how he will be treated generally in LOS.
But he is also a bit judgmental in the morality department, especially with the onset of a bad case of the religious shakes in the last few years. And so I am not sure how he would react when he witnesses just how depraved I can become in the depths of a TG binge...  It may have to be a strictly culinary tour, as to which I will hear no protests I am sure.
Still, it could be interesting to introduce him to the softer side of BKK's P4P scene... as long as I don't kill him too. Not sure how much his heart can take (Eden is definitely out). A covered BJ at Lolitas might be in order, Soi 33, a high-end soapy, and of course Patpong for the LBs and shopping.
