Any locals know of a place for likely viewing of the NFL Playoffs (...that's American Football) 1/4 and 1/5 in BKK?
Anybody else interested?

in the past they used to have them on at some of the bars.. due to the time difference, the bars may have to be closed???
if only the Thai's liked "real" football instead of that silly game where guys run around in shorts, falling down and acting like they are hurt.. only the punters in the NFL are as good at acting as the average soccer player ..
Best bet may be to find a hotel that has the channel you need and then have a girl with you.. the best way to watch an NFL game is with your head between a girl's legs so you have something to watch while you eat 
you may find that only a few of the games will be on TV ...
If you want to watch the replays, you could try Washington Square.. I know that Silver Dollar usually has the games on about ten in the morning .. they are repeats from early morning, but if you don't check the internet first then you don't know what will happen..
Other alternative is to follow the game on your computer.. you can't see it, but you can follow your favorite team ...

The NFL is extensivly covered on TV here....I usually get to see 4 or 5 games a week.....3 Sunday games and MNF....it'll be the same for the playoffs.......probably all of them shown live....make sure you are somewhere which has the sports channels...(there are 4).....but especially ESPN which has the majority of the games.
Problem is....they are as Oaktoad (usual for a Raiders fan to be correct) says out of regular bar hours except the first game on a Sunday which starts at midnight....For me the problem is the best games are on when I'm at work...so it's day off for the Super Bowl.
I'm a Brit by the way......love the NFL....obviously more open minded than Oaktoad.....anyway....the real mans games is rugby isn't it?

Yes, Rugby is a tough game and that is where American Football has it's roots .. American football is much more damaging to the body, but Rugby takes great stamina and courage .. a really good sport and mostly (at least in the USA) played for fun, not money ..
I like Rugby altho I never played, but the University I went to is the powerhouse in the USA in the sport so I keep up with it a bit ..
As far as the "forty whiners" .. not a f_cking chance, look at what the GB team did to them ..
The Raider's could do it, but they have to avoid the slipping and sliding they have done this year .. four wins, then four losses, then five wins .. can't be inconsistent like that .. Oh well, I have seen some good years with my Senors (old timers will understand)
