Quote: from Basher on 6:57 pm on Jan. 31, 2005 I am Basher the name started as a joke as my mate wanted me to go on Thaivisa to back him up as a 'fake' ex SAS soldier on service in Nigeria, I did this and we had a laugh or 2, I upset the moderator somehow, still don't know how and was banned. My mate then had me executed in a scuffle in Nigeria... a lot of folk believed it too, silly sods I chose Basher because I used to work with a bloke called Basher Wright on the rigs in the UK North Sea, he was called basher because... he would never argue, just thump you, and Basher sounds like the consumate British squaddie name like Tommy Jenkins or Smudger Smiff Bash
What oufit were you in? The green and grey camouflage one. No I mean which Regiment? The British one of course, why what are you trying to suggest? There was me, Snowy, Ginger, Tommy, and er Corky.

Expat = abbreviation for expatriate (try Google if you don't understand) Chuck = nickname for Charles. Put the two together and it sounds better than Expatriate Charles. Don't you think so?

Quote: from scobie on 12:13 am on Feb. 1, 2005 When I first went online 4 years ago, I was reading my favourite novel by my favourite author - The Heart of the Matter by Graham Greene. So when asked for the first time for an ID, the name of the main character was an obvious (and unimaginative) choice.
Thought you were from Greeneland. Nice, especially as Greeneland does take in SEA.
