Was in a car driven by my favorite MP girl. Get into a minor fender bender with the car in front (we are at fault). Insurance company is called (MP girl has insurance - other person does not) and rep is sent right away. Discover that other person's license has been suspended and is driving without one. When told that other person doesnt even have a license, (our) rep says that is a police matter and not an insurance matter and finds in favor of the other person (he is supposed to be on our side mind you).
MP Girl will have to pay for damages (fair enough) but the other person with suspended license gets off free and clear. Can someone explain this to me??? TIT...
Maybe I am staying in Thailand too much, but what the hell does it matter if the other driver has a license or not if your MP Girl rear ended him? Her fault she pays sounds logical to me.

I have been in taxi's with more drunk drivers than I care to remember. I had an incident near MBK where the driver hit a motorbike and then pulled a gun on him.
Seeing more endangered species at the market than you ever have in a zoo.
30 Thais jumping out of a 7 meter longtail all wearing life vests when snorkeling.
The dog that sleeps in front of the bookstore everyday near Sukhumvit Soi 7and the hundreds of people casually stepping over him.
I could go on forever but all the crazy shit is what makes me love it.

If your license has been revoked, you shouldn't even be driving in the first place, hence no accident. Is that so idealistic of me to expect? Its like the thief who slipped and broke his leg during a robbery, he sued the shop for not having slip-resistant flooring....And Won!!!
