US$ 1,500 = approx 45k thb.
This is on the Lower scale of Level 1 Management Salaries.
Level 1 = Directors (40k up to 175)
Level 2 = Managers/Supervisors (20 to 30k)
Level 3 = Senior Staff (10 to 15k)
Level 4 = Staff (6 to 10k)
These are Gross Salaries (before the Thai Government helps themselves)
Level 1 and 2 are eligible for Bonuses and Privileges.
The above are Bangkok Salaries.

Who are we kidding.
Shouldn't we also be asking what a construction worker, farm labourer and factory worker get paid monthly to get a more balanced impression ?

If you guys can get me a blue uniform and a wig, I'll try to slip in amongst them in their dormitories and get some real info.
Don't worry. I'll maintain a low profile by laying on my side amidst the cockroaches and below the smells emanating from the slummy barely functioning shared toilet. I have a friend who is a waitress in a bar. Not a hooker, doesn't go with customers and she is paid 5K per month and works 7 days per week. I had another friend who got out of the bar game and became a waitress in a Japanese restaurant and she made about the same also 7 days per week. However she found a farang husband while she was a waitress, something she couldn't do as a bargirl.
