Sounds to me like madfrog is one of those eternally jaded and overly pragmatic types. It has nothing to do with 'playing games' - but you get much further by treating a girl *not* like an object to be used and discarded (this doesn't apply to all girls, of course, with some, that's just fine).

Bought my TG a pair of shoes for V day, naturally they were shown to friends for desired effect.
She is fast becoming Imelda Marcos of Thonglor, but I do get to look at her fine legs in a pair of stillettoes, better value for me IMHO.
However, I bought my farang wife some flowers, she has plenty pairs of shoes already ha ha, and if I did not buy flowers I would lose valuable 'credits' which I use up on trips to LOS, so I can buy shoes for TGs ha ha.

I've used flowerfeedback.com over the years to send flowers and fruit baskets to my TGF. They were always well received, and the grainy Polaroids were classics. I have a collection of those now, spanning 6 years, so it's inadvertently given me an historical view of her bday's and Valentine's day fun.
Never understood, though, why they still use the grainy Polaroids, which they scan and send copies of via email to the sender. Considering digital cameras would make this far cheaper, easier, and of much higher quality. T.I.T.

Good point - considering in many of these cases, the grainy polaroid was 'digitized' by taking a picture of it... with a digital camera.
Maybe has something to do with the possibility that the long-in-the-tooth polaroid camera is less likely to be stolen by the delivery boy, and might be easier to handle and operate.
Then again, some of my recent pictures were done via digital camera - and after next year, they will be hard pressed to find anymore polaroid films (sadly, Polaroid is discontinuing the instant picture format)

You are correct - in all of these cases it's a matter of where the girls know exactly where I, and they, stand. In fact, in two of these cases, they are girls I have known a long time, and enjoy hanging out with them outside of work, and it doesn't include sex.
Like I said, it's a matter of treating them like normal girls, with no strings attached (though I have to add, both are great gals in terms of setting me up with other girls - so, yes, there is a pay-off).
Seems there's a general confusion regarding social interactions going on here.
