I believe many taxi drivers in the West carry weapons of some sort as they frequently get abused. Thai taxi drivers take abuse from some Thai's as well.
These two guys vomitted in his taxi and then refused to help clean it up, or pay for the cleaning. They also I hear kicked his cab as he left and that was the last straw.
The least you can do if you puke in someones car is pay for cleaning it up,at least you don't have to deal with the stench...
38 and 28, think they'd know how to drink and behave, sober and restrained as anyone who has been out with me would know.......
Of course stabbing them was a slight over reaction....

I believe many taxi drivers in the West carry weapons of some sort as they frequently get abused. Thai taxi drivers take abuse from some Thai's as well.
I KNOW many taxi-drivers here carry weapons (knives, baseball bats, those martial art type doube stick things with a rope in between them).

cab drivers in america, they should all be armed. wasn't more than a week ago another cabbie was robbed and killed in my area...i'm not gutless and I always carry a weapon..the fact is some people are insane and you never know when your fists wont be enough..why shouldn't i be armed?

Of course the cab driver over-reacted, but I would say that by refusing to pay for the mess these guys were 'asking for it' in LOS terms.
Thais don't blow very easily, but when they do blow, they blow big... just about anything can happen. And no, an irate Thai guy isn't too pernickety about Queensbury rules. This can be a major problem for obstreperous drunks. Ý

Outnumbered 2 to 1, and probably outweighed as well... fair is fair. It's not the driver's fault that the two guys read some silly comment on some board somewhere thinking they could just push a random Thai cabbie around. An eye for some vomit. Hey! You better get your azz back here and pick up your eyeball, punk.

Don't be ridiculous. It was 20+ years ago now that I was attacked by two guys with knives. I fought them off, even biting one through the hand. I wish I'd had a knife, they would have been laying dead instead of me spending a night in hospital with two puncture wounds. I've carried knives now ever since that night.
