Yep, the ol Bum Gun helped out this trip.... I hit every good Thai kitchen in BKK and Samui for evening meals... always hot and spicy 3 course meals with Thai Chilli for me.... and a large Singha and Im good to go with my GF !
Butt the chilli caught up with me on the 5 night in Samui....whew a 10 minute Issan Kaapuut blow out !.... the cool water dousing really helped alleviate the chilli scorpions sting ! aaaaaahhh!
The Cowboys Tilac a Go-Go has a stainless steel sprayer from Home Pro... sharp looking too, from the kitchen plumbing area !... humm ? maybe plumb in a Jacuzzi type sprayer for the Songkran party method just in case I eat a 5 course meal; clams included with TGF Ms Spicy and her lesbian sisters

I thought those guns were for squirting all the crap that is stuck to the side of the bowl after you have a dump. At least, that's what I use them for.
I know they are meant to be used for cleansing your anus afterwards but all I've ever been left with is a dripping wet backside and wet underpants.
Am I doing something wrong or is there a method that washes your bum and leaves it immediately dry that I haven't heard of?
I'd rather stick to toilet tissue.

However, the short answer to your question about the drying cycle is, you may either dab it dry with a small amount of toilet tissue or drip dry, which is my preferred choice.
One word of caution however. After you finish the squirting process, don't jump up immediately as there will be an excess amount of water still on your bum. Sit patiently for several seconds, let the excess drip off, and then re-clothe yourself.
Secondarily, the gun may be used for cleaning those nasty remains from the toilet bowl, but the primary purpose is personal happiness.
Believe me, your bum will never be happier after you have mastered the procedure. I can no longer live without a bum gun.
My motto is...no bum gun, no dump.
