Then they should rewrite the CIA facts as this place sounds like business paradise, not Thailand.
The grip of law is weakening and cronyism is beoming a major influence in political and business circles. Increasingly the two are intertwined in the major deals, and not just public sector contracts, but in a much more clever way than before.
I will not give examples as they may sound outlandish but I guess a lot of bros know what I am talking about.
On the other hand, there are worse countries for this.
