I do indeed know that a miscreant can launch WW3 by posing as some other user & posting & PM'ing.
I connected via the proxy server - PM if you need the details - but of course that runs slow as hell. On proxy server - no need to log on - it recognises you.
Interesting that other ISP are involved. Appreciate the help. Will certainly try another timeout setting. Dot.

Thanks for the condescending remark.
Perhaps the best analogy would have been that of postmaster rather than postman.
On an Ikonboard the administrators do not have ready access to your Private Messages. As Administrator I really couldn't care less what people said in private.
The poor old administrators on Ajarn.COM are however trying to find ways of reading Private Messages. I have no idea why they would ever want to. Just as well they don't own a bar here, everytime a customer tried to speak there would be some shifty little fella standing behind him trying to hear what he was saying.
Tip for Ajarn.COM administrators.... when you back up the forum, open the file and spend a few hours looking for the section containing private messages. They're all in there.
I have a PM here. BK is welcome to read it if he wishes. Something about Bangkoktonight readers overthrowing the government of the United States of America I think...but I may be wrong.
