Damn, looks like that light at the end of the tunnel up north was a locomotive headlight after all, lol! But too bad... I can relate to the good times upcountry, and the constant pull of the butterfly. The ladies don't like it, but they will put up with a certain amount of it, provided their other needs are being met. Thanks for the FR's on your experiences upcountry; they reflect a lot of what I've seen and done too.
The only way I deal with it is to go out for an occassional s/t, then deny, deny, deny. Of course, I follow the adage, "never shit on your own porch," so even though we live nearby a MP, I take my business elsewhere, lol! Never sure how long this will last, but that's the best I can come up with. If the thing with my TGF ever falls apart (going on 4 years now), perhaps it would be time to hang up my l/t spurs and just become a s/t man. But there is something to be said for those quiet sunsets in the hills up north...
