Same bunch nearly got my wallet... what... must have been 4 years ago now. Same deal. I was walking from Asoke to Nana and a couple of ladyboys came up to me with the whole "You come with me?" line, grabbing onto me as I tried to walk away.
Luckily, despite my drunken state, I felt the hand of one of them go into my pants pocket. I grabbed her(?) hand and pushed them away. I'm a happy drunk, not an angry one, so I just said "That's not very nice of you." and walked away.
I've never forgotten that incident but I do forget why I was walking that area so late at night... probably looking for a freelancer. Don't remember.

...and that is how I would recommend anyone handle that situation....(being a happy drunk helped Sir T)....a light hearted moment, wag the finger and smile at the "naughty girl" and wander off...
option A: treat it as a joke (it ain't) and you slow down or negate any violent response from them because your response leaves them the option of simply moving onto the next guy.....
option B: you get aggro, swing punches, start shouting for the police and things escalate....(drunk, out numbered, out gunned and unprepared, IMHO chances are that it ends badly for you.)
Usually when I have posted this sort of advice elsewhere, I get reply posts from others who will proudly say they will only ever take option B and they call me chicken shit for daring to propose anything else....
Well, I have seen what a bladed weapon does to human flesh....the contents of my wallet, my sense of pride, making the world a better place for the next guy, standing up to thugs, "what if we all felt that way?".....none of that means shit to me....protecting from such harm this aging, sagging vessel, that is my mortal form is all that matters in that situation....Enjoy.

I was accosted by this same bunch myself a couple of weeks ago - I'd just come from Soi Cowboy after closing and had to piss like a racehorse, so I told "tilac du jour" to wait and ducked into some little side lane of some type and let fly - the next thing you know this buxom creature is flashing her big boobs at me and I'm being mobbed my at least two others including a ladyboy. Thankfully I was just about done and thought I'd held them off, then realized on the way out that my wallet was okay in my right hand front pocket, but my mobile was missing from the left. About that same time I encountered another falang who had apparently been robbed by the same bunch and he was chasing them around trying to get his wallet or whatever back. Tilac grabbed me and held me while yakking to these individuals, and to my surprise I found my mobile in my inner right front pocket behind my wallet, where I never put it. I can only surmise that she knew these people and persuaded them to put it back - if this is what happened they are very slick as I did not feel a thing.
Mind you, I was drunk as a skunk and it is all a little fuzzy, but it was a good wake-up call - be careful out there.

The other night around 8.00 pm returning from Foodland a lady and 2 LB's ganged up on me just before the bus stop opp the entrance to Bumrungrad on Soi 3. They wouldn't let me pass, one of them was squeezing my bxxxs another was pressing its breasts against me and the third touching me all over. By the time I freed myself and started to cross the road, I realised that my wallet was missing, my wallet is always in my front pocket, I chased them but in vain. lost quite a bit of money, credit cards etc. Anyone walking down soi 3 please take care.

Damn, that's bad. I've had my wallet stolen by a LB once but I was lucky to be able to get it back from him. These days I have my money and wallet in separate pockets. And I never let anyone try to touch me at all.

Why carry a wallet at all while on P4P adventures?
Take only as much cash as you are likely to need for drinks and bar fine,or a short time hotel if you do not intend to take your bar fine back to your hotel.
Keep your cash in a front pocket where it cannot easily be removed without you being aware of it.
Cash is much less obvious to a pickpocket than a bulky wallet.
And do not get drunk.It makes you a tempting target,and significantly reduces both your ability to obtain and maintain an erection,and the willingness of your bar fine to give you a GFE.

I always carry a money clip and a wallet separately, in my daily life. While on P4P adventures, as Valetta puts it, I leave the wallet at home, take the cash and an ATM card just in case, all in the front pocket where I'm most sensitive to wandering hands. Thankfully never had a problem.
As for being drunk, well, that's all the time, I just don't show it. My steady walk fools preying LBs and TGs willing to give me a little GFE  Sanook sanook.
