actually, erect nipples are easier to spot on a C-Cup and it's surprising the amount of C and D cups out there in UniForms (pun intended) these days

first major complaint besides the air con about the new system is that the thai people don't understand the signs and have problems finding their way out again! the signs were installed according to international standards but apparently thai's don't seem to understand them! now the subway management is thinking about making them bigger (better readable) and put even more in place. just wonder is that because thai's are to dumb or to proud/shy to use glasses. just the same as I got annoyed by this thai officelady in front of me at the atm today, who was pressing all keys and buttons for about 4 minutes and then aborting the transaction without getting any money. sometimes I really think thais are just to dumb for any advanced technology with the exception of mobile phones and there only the games section!

Griffin, excatly. They got those mobiles down pat, but it always seems you thinking only one person at the ATM it should be a short time. How many times must they repeat the transaction to understand YOU HAVE NO MORE MONEY IN YOUR ACCOUNT. I think they think it is like keeping on opening the refridgarator door hoping that food will magically appear.

Some Thais simply don't understand that ATM are meant for quick withdrawals (including the people behind you).

Did a little test drive with the MRTA this morning. Bought a stored value Smart Card, which costs 300 B, of which 50 B is deducted as a deposit. So, now I have two different stored value cards for MRTA and the BTS. I got out at Phra Ram 9 station, which is just outside the IT Mall next to Fortunte Hotel. Your closest MP is Champ Elysee, which is across the street. Notice the white bill board on the left. http://bkkx.com/pix/DSC01317.jpg Out of Huay Kwang station, I got out of the wrong end, but the pix shows you accessibility to Emmanuelle, First Class, Nataree, Subway, Mirage (a bit more walking required into the soi just after Subway) and on the opposite Caesars. http://bkkx.com/pix/DSC01321.jpg

Okay, guys small tangent here: I read a lot of people compaining about 'Thai people' being too dumb to use technology at ATMs, etc.. Sorry to burst out with some reality pills here, but there are plenty of Americans, Europeans, etc equally too damn stupid to use 'advanced' technologies like ATM cards, subways, change machines, or other such gizmos... There's been plenty of times when I stood at an ATM machine, waiting for the cretin in front of me to finish pressing all of the buttons, thinking that it will somehow make money magically appear where there is none. Dumb people (or 'challenged by technology') are everywhere. No, regarding the subway - I wonder about two issues: - There's a lot of water under Bangkok. How was that problem solved? - In the wet season, streets are often submerged in a lot of water - how did they address that issue of the water drowing down the subway system? Harry

Just send the water back to the streets.

the water level was actually the biggest problem in planning this subway, as far as I know. that is why they had to use the german consortium with their knowhow to construct and build it. I heard that the drainage alone made up for about 50% of total costs!
