Bandit, re your point about wanting a hose at home... it is sooooo simple and cheap to make a hose next to your toilet yourself... as long as your water pipe leading to your toilet isn't hidden behind the tiles.
All I needed was a metal thing???? dunno what it's called - t-joint possibly??- bought it in the hardware store, a tap and a metre of hose. Whole lot couldn't have cost more than a couple of euros and was fitted and working in 10 minutes. (and I'm not exactly handy-andy)
And... it works a treat!;)

What never ceases to amaze me on this subject is how so many westerners are totally replused by the hose/water jug idea. They find it "dirty". lol.

Now that we are back to the topic of shit and water, a piece of advice: be careful if you ever shit out at sea, salt water makes sure the shit always float. And if you eat lots of fiber it quickly breaks down and you find yourself surrounded by your own shit. Once surrounded and trapped it is difficult to avoid it getting all over you. It is not a pleasant experience or sight.

This thread seems to be gaining momentum whilst I've been asleep and to the toilet. I am not sure whether this is a sign that people on the Forum are bored or whether the topic means that people are not bored anymore.
Anyway, the use of the hose is a very personal thing. What is needed here is MORE DETAILS about its use, for this thread to become re really serious contribution.
